Budget advertising

I have tried a mailshot for my two sites
Ebay Home Based Business
Resale Rights Marketer
both excellent packages.
I paid $49 for a 300,000 email shot with no response, google adwords etc.
Where else can i try advertising?

    Google Adwords can be tough to work with.

    You could try out Yahoo Advertising and Microsoft's Adcenter.
    I've used both of those with good results.

    MSN Adcenter is by far the best in terms of cost-per-click and conversion ratio. And it's a lot more straightforward than Google. There just isn't the same level of traffic. But I always begin my campaigns there then take them abroad.
