    There are multiple things that you can do to get traffic coming in.

    Article marketing, video marketing, press release marketing, link baiting, etc. Look up any of those terms on the forum search and I bet you'll find loads of information to get you started.

    There are multiple ways -

    1. You can bookmark.
    2. Through forums. Like you can include a signature in your forum posts
    3. Through blog commenting
    4. Guest blogging etc..
    5. Ofcourse SEO
    6. Writing articles and submiting to article directories

    Select 1 or 2 strategies that you are comfortable with and drive traffic through them

    Video marketing. Create 10-20 short videos with tips or other useful information for your audience and submit half of them to YouTube (you can use TubeMogul) to submit to more sites. Create those videos no longer then 1 min, as people are in a hurry.

    The other half of videos, publish on your blog. On YouTube in the end of each video say something like this - Like it? Click the link below to watch 10 more tips like this.

    Then on blog, you definitely need to collect the email address before you give access to the videos.

    This is a powerful strategy how to get massive traffic and build the long term asset as well.
