Hi Warriors,

just starting to test Amazon widgets on my blog. A. offers so many different ones- just wondering which offers the best CTR.

Which one would you recommend ?

Thanks !

    Hi Plato,

Maybe you should stick with text & image links. I don't usually place too many widgets on my sites. And if I do it's usually the "search box" & the "carousel" widgets.

    Hope this helps,
    Gordon

If you read around the biggest Amazon affiliates here on the Warrior forum, they all say that in-text links within reviews perform much better than widgets and banners.

That said, what Dave D said about making your own banners I think is also a good idea. For example, you could create a simple banner including the product image and the text "click here to get free shipping at Amazon". Always check the product to see what makes Amazon a good choice for buying that, whether it's because Amazon offers 40% discount off RRP or free shipping, etc.
