WP Robot Hosting Site

Hi,
I have been using the free hosting at WebKrib to set up WP Robot autoblogs. This has been working great, except that they apply php restrictions. I contacted the support and they got that all figured out, but I don't want to have to repeat this process for every autoblog i make. Does anyone know of a free hosting to suit my needs?

Of course it has to be free.

It needs to support PHP and cURL.

It has to have a script installer.

It has to have no PHP restrictions.

Finally it needs to have Cron Jobs.

Does anyone know hosting that I'm looking for? Thanks, Justin

"Of course it has to be free."

    Who pays your rent?

    Who pays for your meals?

    Who pays for your electricity?

Why is it that you intend to make obscene profits online yet it's asking too much to spend $5 a month for hosting, when electricity, water, sewer, trash, and other common stuff doesn't help you earn a nickle but costs more per MONTH than an entire YEAR of hosting???

Why don't you try renting a dedicated server for a couple hundred bucks a month and give away free hosting to all your friends? See how much time they suck out of your life bitching and complaining about the lousy service they're getting for ... FREE.

I actually did that. In less than three weeks, I'd gotten dozens of complaints by people who kept complaining about the restrictions that the service imposed to keep hackers away. Nonetheless, somebody hacked into it, took over the server, used it to send out about 5 million spam emails before the data center figured out which server it was and pulled the plug on it.

Do you REALLY want to base your business on a flaky server that's likely to get hacked? Just because you're too cheap to spend $5/mo for hosting?

OK SageSound. Do you know what an autoblog is? Do you know what internet marketing is? It's about profit. You might have seen that autoblogging is about numbers. In autoblogging you're trying to make 150 blogs in as little time. Not spend $1500 and take 1500 hours. And when your autoblogging it's hard not to be "too cheap to spend $5/mo for hosting". That $750 per month adds up. I've been using free hosts for as long as I can remember and have never "bitched and complained about them". You see when you say these things SageSound you're not looking through every possible perspective. There are those of us who HAVE A BUDGET. For these people $5 a month times 100 blogs(thats $500 p/m) is lot considering they are making no profit to start off with.

    hi jay,

im almost astounded to hear the answer you gave

sure you could host all your 150 bloglets on a 1 x $5 pm hosting package ...
yes thats right - all of them on this offer for an incredible $5 p/m ...

or you can keep searching for 1 x 1500 hours for one meeting your requirements for free ...

davewebsmith, are you saying I could host 150 blogs on different web addresses at 5-10 dollars p/m for all of them? I was just saying that I don't want to spend 150 dollars per month for hosting when I could use WebKribz.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, but my service is something like $7 a month and allows unlimited sites. Is there a reason why a service like that wouldn't work?

No Goatboy, that could work. I'm sorry for everyone who was offended. I was thinking hosting was for each blog I created, not just for the whole lot of them.

      Not offended mate ...

Just to make things clear here. If you looked at a hosting package from lets say - Hostgator you can host unlimited sites on your package

You would need to purchase and renew a domain for each blog if you wanted each blog to have a unique .com/.net/.org etc name

      myblog(dot)com
      myotherblog(dot)com
      yetanotherblog(dot)com

Or like blogger.com/wordpress.org you could setup one domain and have "sub" domains with unlimited blogs

      Here is an example

you could buy a primary domain eg) myblogs(dot)com (main domain)

Sub domains would be (unique under main domain)

      goto.myblogs(dot)com
      checkout.myblogs(dot)com
      etc.myblogs(dot)com

Might want to look at WordPress MU (Multi user)
WordPress MU › WordPress MU Forums it works as the example above

      To answer your original questions

      1) It needs to support PHP and cURL. - Yes hostgator does

      2) It has to have a script installer. - Yes its called Fantastico (google it)

      3) It has to have no PHP restrictions. - I doubt this would be available on any shared or reseller hosting package - you would prob need a vps/dedicated but you run serious secuirty risks if you dont know what you are doing with PHP and LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL and PHP) boxes on the internet. As Sagesound mentioned his server was used as a spam email server -

      4) Finally it needs to have Cron Jobs. - Yes - CPanel allows this

Hope that helps. Let us know if you need any other clarification
