Can anyone give me any tips for attracting affiliates on ClickBank?

Hi,

I'm a new vendor on ClickBank with a fairly unique product that has just gone live. My main question for the veterans on the board is how best to attract heavy hitting and quality affiliates to my product.

Thanks!

One method is to advertise your affiliate program on the CB marketplace, I've never tried this myself but I've read it can be very effective.

Another method is to search google for websites related to your niche, look for sites that are already involved in affiliate marketing, and in particular sites that are using opt-in forms and collecting email addresses.

Make a list of all the sites that are likely candidates and send them each an individual personal email introducing yourself and your product. Offer them free access and provide any conversion data you might have, people are more likely to be interested if you can provide them with good conversion data.

Mark off people who reply, followup with those who don't reply about 5 days later.

I've done this a few times in a few niches and it works.

Get out and meet people. Go to live events like affiliate summit. Dont just talk about business, got and become friends with people. People work with people they like.

I was just going through CB looking for a product to promote. Noticed one that was offering a 1% commission rate to the lucky affiliate. It was pretty easy to speed by that one.

I'd expect that the highest rate on CB, 75% commission, would be a big help attracting affiliates. Some products do offer 100%, but this involves an extra couple of steps. The affiliate collects the first 75% from CB, and the rest directly from the vendor.

There are also joint venture forums to get affiliates together with vendors. I was reading one over the weekend. This one did emphasize a few times, 'don't just come in here looking for affiliates. Join up and get to know people first.'

Something that Clickbank is not mandatory, but can make a huge difference in attracting subsidiaries, is setting up a Web page designed to help affiliates promote the product. Clickbank is the way to recruit affiliates directly to your website.

You may share it here and get people to help promoting your product. As people in Warrior are talking about the same language here.
