Holy Cow I made $18.00 on CJ

Ok, so I know some of you are saying big deal it's only $18.00, but being a newb that's an accomplishement for me. Heck a milestone. I'm sure I've read that lots of people didn't make one sale when trying aff. marketing. Yeah sure I lost some money, but at least I know that this stuff is for real and now I can put more time into this and grow a real business. I've only been doing this for about three weeks. What's funny is that now advertisers are inviting me to promote their products. If only they saw my crappy little landing page.

So what am i gonna do now? Well, for starters, I'm gonna find someone to redesign my landing page and get some articles written. I think I've already found some folks right here that I'm williing to hire. I'll see how it goes from there. I'm excited.

So guys say a little prayer(I prefer prayer than luck, thankyou) that I can duplicate the sale and to everyone who's just trying this for the first time keep at it. Learn as much as you can, but remember to put what you've learned into action.

Good for you dude. That first one is important because it's sobering and sets it in that it's possible to do and can motivate you to continue like you said. It sucks to put in a lot of sweat and tears not knowing whether or not something will work. Now you do.

But there are gonna be more sobering things to come. Get ready to fail a lot, learn from it and keep going.

The first time I tried to make money online I made $4000. This was almost immediately after I looked into making money online for the first time. BUT it's been downhill since then. Maybe I got lucky.

It's like the less one knows, sometimes, the better off they are. I don't mean don't learn but I guess what I'm talking about is paralysis by analysis.

But I'm not saying this to discourage you. I'm just letting you know what will happen.

You gotta keep plowing ahead and keep learning.

I know the feeling. The first time I got an email about a sale I was clicking my heels in mid air and shouting and the neighbors thought I was nuts. It was a great time. I used Adwords. My first click got a sale, and the second and the third in a row. I don't know how often that happens the very first time.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket. I made that mistake and I got screwed.

Be careful who you get advice from. Be smart. And you don't need to buy every $500 or $1000 course. Or every $97 ebook for that matter.
