The opportunities are endless. Are you kidding me? You can sell them slimming products, ebooks, fitness equipment, all kinds of health and fitness aids, if nothing else, send them to your blog covered with Adsense.

First, you are going to make money by NOT trying to make money with your list.

      Weight loss is our niche...

OK, you're going to need some content, PLR or whatever, doesn't matter. What we need are recipes and exercise material. Content that is relevant to your readers.

Every week, send out a newsletter, make it look professional and include a recipe and an exercise tip. Depending on the demographics of your list you could throw in something else that is for men or women. Beauty tips, sex tips... stuff like that. Keep it simple and quick read. Nobody wants to read a book.

You are now providing a quality content newsletter with information that is relevant to your readers. You want to build up trust. You want people to read it, not delete it.

So how are we going to make money?

Once a month throw in your soft sale. The trick is you don't want your readers to think you are trying to sell them something. Your aiming for the same effect that paid advertisements in magazine (that look like legit articles) have.

So lets say we are using amazon as our primary revenue source. Once a month you include a review of the latest or most popular diet book which just so happens to have your affiliate link.

The trick is figuring out the best combination of content and sales, similar to a web site.

You don't want to alienate your readers by banging them over the head with sales pitches but you also need to have enough sales content to make more than $20 a month.

Start simple then experiment once you have a stable and growing number of readers and you'll find the right balance.

And remember, if you provide people with something worth reading... they will read it. If you send out "CHEAP **** BERRY" chances are they are going to delete it right away.

Well, that is one way of doing it. Not going to claim it's the best way but it's a way.
So, so true. One thing you could do is have a friend read your email before you send it and ask them: "Is this SPAM?"
