what the heck?! I bought a product using my OWN clickbank ID and still no sales?

Do clickbank need a day to register a sales?

I found it strange when there are 50 order impression form but 0 sales.. Thinking it was not right, i bought the product myself using my own affiliate link.....and still no sales. Is there something wrong or clickbank needs a day to register the sales? I bought it a few hours back.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

WSO: I PROMISE/GUARANTEE you that this will be the LAST WSO you will ever need to purchase!

Here's the thing. The above may seem too good to be true but all I can say is there isn't even 1% hype or BS in the above sentence. This WILL BE YOUR LAST WSO to purchase.

If you do a search in this forum, then you will find several threads about the faulty tracking of Clickbank.

Do YOU have cookies unabled on your computer?

Did you scroll down to make sure your affiliate ID was showing on the bottom of the CB order page before you made the purchase?

      my cookies are enabled.

I do not see any affiliate id showing at the bottom of the CB order page..

But the url of the website is http://www . domainname . com/?hop=MyclickbankId..

is there any problem with that?

        Follow the steps:

        1) Visit your hoplink (the link you used to make your purchase).
        2) Click the order now button.
        3) When on the clickbank order page, scroll to the bottom.
        4) Check if you see your affiliate id like in the image below: (found using Google Images)

If its there, clickbank's at fault. Otherwise, you're.

Check in the transactions tab. Had this before where stats hadn't updated but the sale was showing in the transactions.

YourDomain.com/?hop=whatever isn't going to give you the commission, you need to come from the hop.clickbank link first.

My advice - If you do this again, you should check the affiliate ID that appears on the order page is yours.

Clickbank tracking only goes faulty where cookies are deleted or the vendor is up to something ... and that is true of all affiliate networks not just CB.

Do you mind sharing the vendor url with us?

No worry.. not going to be your competitor but just eager to check the page out.
Despite the fact many people blame CB on their tracking, there are evidence that some vendors are fooling around..

Isn't it against the rules to post affiliate links in the forum as well as outing product creators?

As someone has noted before "website . com/?hop=" does NOT track cookies. You must make a PROPER hoplink in the format
      http:// affiliate.vendor.... etc.

Perhaps, but that should not stop anyone from sending a PM to the person who requested the link...

I usually promote a product and get a lot of sales initially, then all of a sudden clicks keep coming but no more sales.

If I stop the campaign for a few days and restart, sales re-activate. This is why I use clickbank products only for testing, and now that most clickbank sites are receiving poor qs from adwords, I might not even do that any more!

I don't know if it's the tracking system or there's a bug, but it is true and happens every other week with the products I promote.
