Hrmn what are you referring too I'd be interested to learn more about finding edu/gov sites. You mean for backlinking?

Yes for backlinking, I have been doing it for months, I have a list around a thousand and the other day, the search operator that I was using , does not work anymore. Wondering if anyone else has the same problem.

    I can find them..
I just typed into yahoo the following search :

    inurl:.edu

and it came back with almost 1.2 million results.

So, yip its still working.. Making Y! is blocking your ip address. Try using a proxy to get around it. I would suggest a site like HideMyAss.com

    Hope this helps

Try to do that for a domain, pick a domain and try to do it. See how many edu sites a domain has.

Also here is what I found on the issue:

It works on edu sites, but try your own site or another site that would have edu sites linking back to it.
