hi,

i was wondering how the templating system works. can i use any html page or does it have to be one created through raps?

    Hi ebook

    You can use your own html templates - you simply insert "tokens" (php snippets) for things like price, order button, etc and RAP takes care of the rest for you.

    Also, make sure that you leave the tokens in the header or it won't track correctly.

    RAP is an excellent system, easy to use, & really not that hard to learn.

    RAP has their own forum as well if you want to dig into it a bit more, but yes, as already mentioned... your pages will work fine expect for a bit of "RAP-ifying" that will be needed. Very simple to setup though. Or you can hire someone to do it for a low cost and you'll have a terrific system ready to go.

      The RAP templates are fully editable, but be careful with the editor you use. DreamWeaver, Front Page and XSite Pro have a tendancy to corrupt the RAP tokens.

      Other than that, it's just like editing any HTML page.
