Are there any website design programs that work like weebly's

Are there any free website editors that are easy like the one they have on weebly.com? Not looking for companies like weebly, just the editor, I Have paid hosting through gatorhost so I would like to host my websites there. The websites you create on weebly have to be hosted on weebly (as far as I know, unless paid members can download the website code??)

I've tried wordpress but I find weebly is much easier to create a website.

Any ideas?

I am a free Weebly member and you can download your site. I don't use it too much now, but my very first website was created with weebly. When it was done, I just downloaded it, and uploaded it to my own site.

You just go into the 'settings' tab, select the archive/unpublish link and download the whole thing in a zip file..

There is also Blinkweb (not as good imo), and Wixx, which I found ages ago, and just haven't got round to using so can't say if it's any good or not.

Why is it ironic? That website is about the basics of building a website. If people just went to weebly right away they wouldn't really learn anything about website codes and components. I've already learned html, css, hosting and domain names over the last 6 months because I thought I had to in order to be able to build sites. If I would of found weebly right away I would of never learn any of that stuff

That wont work cause the html refers to a lot of stuff from a from an unseen css file which I can't get by just copying the html.
