INTERNET MARKETING

Hey Warriors,
Like the title says this is my call for help.
For those of you who do not know me my name is Will. I have been in Iraq as a contractor for the last 5 years. Now, I am ready to come home. I have a wife and kids who need me.

I have money, what I do not have is much time. I am looking for something that I can build or plug into, drive traffic to, and make enough to support myself and my family. I have tried promoting clickbank products, but more often then not I make as much as I spend. There have beena few good products in the past but nothing to base my income off of.

I have also tried the pluginprofit site. Which I like, and it is easy enough to get people to start, but getting them to keep going is another story. Most people do not like MLMs.

I can drive traffic, I can make lists, and I can buy domains. What I can't seem to do is make a solid steady income. I am not looking for 1 million dollars. I am looking to make this my career.

If anyone has and ideas, please let me know. Time is getting shorter by the second and I need to get something off the ground quickly.

I am looking to set my budget at around 10 grand.

hi will, i'm no expert, however something i would consider looking into is looking around for established websites for sale and maybe plugging into that business if you have the money to invest. of course i'm sure there's scams going all over that marketplace too, but sure there are plenty of good ones too. you maybe could start off with a couple small ones and reinvest into larger ones, not sure.

Will,

If I had 10K I would be scanning the Flippa.com marketplace for a couple sites that would earn me a living.

I'd then run them and scale up from there.

Just focus on building a few niche sites and sell products, find a niche that has low competition and high search crush it. If you don't know how to do this I recommend using the Niche profit classroom.

  You mentioned that you can drive traffic. Can you drive a consistent amount of targeted traffic to your offers? If so, then you've got a major part of the process down. The problem could be that your sales pages/products are not converting and need to be tweaked and/or changed.
  
  It would be helpful to see exactly what your sales funnel looks like. Again, if you're able to drive traffic but it's just not converting, then it would probably just take some minor adjusting to turn that traffic into buying customers.

Find a hungry crowd and give them an irrestible offer (but build up trust first via email marketing)

Get targeted traffic from articles, seo , facebook, youtube, forums, ppc

Once you have the outline then it's hard to get lost

outsource the backlink building as well. Do alot of funneling, jv...and everything else.

Personally I would take that money offline and....

  Take a little time and evaluate your strengths and weaknesses and your interests. Do you have special knowledge that would interest others? Do you have something to teach?
  
  You may start an ebook, a book published on Amazon or hire a good programmer to create a piece of software or apps you could sell.
  
  Start in one place with one plan of action for a product/site/promotion. Whatever you do, don't get bogged down in the tiny details or worry about getting everything perfectly done. Don't waste your seed money on "how to do it stuff" as it's a good amount to use to start business and promote without having to pinch pennies or be unable to do what needs done.
  
  Get that first product completed or set of sites built and then start a new plan to build on the first success. The dependable money starts coming when you find a business model you are comfortable with - work it exclusively and then scale it up and expand the business/products.

Amazing info Thank you everyone.

I haven't been a CB marketer since I learned to drive traffic. But to answer your question, yes, I am much better at driving targeted traffic now than i was at the beginning. That seems to be the easiest thing for me to do. And when I can't do it myself there is always the PPC path.

I need to sit down and figure out what I want to do. After it is setup and the ground floor is laid, i would like it to be as automated as possible. I got some decisions to make.

  If I had $10,000 right now I would pick a high value niche, buy an aged domain related to that niche, get 100 long tail articles written (good quality content not $5 articles) put the articles on a well structured blog/site, add 10 more articles each week working my way up in terms of competition, stick adsense on every page, pay someone to link build every page, collect the money from google.

Hello Will

There are a few different ways at going about making money online but I would have to say the best way to make money is learn as much as you can. You have to be the person people come to for answer and in doing this you will be branding yourself and people will come to you. You must be a leader becasue everyone is looking to follow someone they think will make them some good money or give them hope.

You have to have a funnel that you send people thru because when you put them in the room with a person who has been marketing for a while your people will sign up because they are full of hope, its when they get home and everyone is gone that they realize they never wanted a home based business.

if you promote something small and easy to sell then you can see who you want in your business and who would be wasting your your time plus adding another stream of income to your business.

Hey there, I haven't read any of the other responses, but what I would do is find a JV partner and create a product that sells for at least 67. Sell it on click bank and make the affiliate commission at least 75%.

Make sure you get everyone that purchases your products name and email address.

Then I would learn to write web copy.
Get started in MLM.
Or help local business get on the web.

That is what I would do... actually I did all of that already.

If time is that much of an issue then I suggest you get a job to put food on the table until you get something off the ground because it will not be quick.

I believe that your reason for not succeeding so far is due to the fact that you are chasing opportunities rather than building a long last buisiness (same reason as me).

Take a break...take the time to figure out what you really want to do..and build it as your business. Don't jump around at all...success is basically inevitable in this business as long as you have the ability to keep trying (as well as the dedication and faith). Think about it..if you spent 5 months doing one specific business model..don't you think that by the end of the 5 months you would have learned enough about that particular business to at least be bringing in somewhat decent income?

Now take that same 5 months and do what most do (jump from business model to business model)..you automatically have a recipe for disaster because these people (including myself formerly) are not spending enough time in one area to really learn how it works and what they are doing wrong.

Success can come alot faster than most thing as long as you are willing to put the level of focus that is required into it.
