Question for those who deal with domains.
I wonder if someone who buys and sells domains would mind offering some feedback.
I'm new to just about every aspect of the different ways of making money on the Internet, and one of the things I've done some reading about is domain names.
Would you be interested in purchasing domains that have 101 after the keyword in the title, even if you weren't entirely sure how to monetize a potential site? I somewhat understand the concept of high search results. I realize it doesn't matter if the word neckties gets 100,000 searches a month, if I can't figure out a way to make money from it, but would you buy neckties101.com if you thought there was even a slight chance that someone else could figure it out and then try to market the domain to that person?
It's just that, in the back of my mind, I keep thinking about getting the keyword in the domain name. I just wonder if additional words or numbers diminish the value. I think 101 could be potentially good, because of what it implies. I was just hoping to get some feedback from some who are more knowledgeable.
