Article marketing links to where?

I'm a bit confused. When you do article marketing where does your resource box link to? A squeeze page or back to you blog? If it goes back to your blog do you then have an opt-in box obviously on the main page to try to get people to opt in?

Depends on where YOU want it to link to.

    People do the following:

    - Direct it to a CPA offer directly (direct linking using a masked redirect)
    - Direct it to a squeeze page to build a list and loyal readers
    - Direct it to their blog with a pre-sell page which could be in the form of an article and then the offer at the bottom or top of the page.

    Hope this helps

Most directories allow two links so I usually link to both.

Sometimes the article will be about a certain product so I will link to that and my newsletter/squeeze page.

I would always try to make at least one of the links to a squeeze page so you can build your list. At least that works for me.

However, some affiliate marketers will do this and link to the product they are promoting (some don't have their own site)

There are loads of options. I prefer linking to a squeeze page so that you can capture the person's contact details and marker to them repeatedly. But basically you can link to your blog, affiliate offers, cpa offers or whatever.
