How do you rank for two keywords that include the same phrase?

If I wanna purchase an exact match domain to rank for two keywords, one which would be for example, "lucuma facial cleanse" and the other is just "lucuma". Which domain should I get to rank for both KWs, lucuma.com or lucumafacialcleanse.com?

You would want lucumafacialcleanse.com - then backlink with the two keyword phrases in anchor text.

As Lee notes, you would usually want the longer version. I just switched from a single keyword domain to a doubleword domain (containing same single keyword) and Google search rank jumped from steady 300+ plus to 20 and below - in 2 days. Reason is that single word was far too broad so hitting lots more competition.

BUT (a BIG BUT), it all depends on the keywords. In my case no problem, but if you are considering the keywords in your message the 'lucuma facial cleanse' has negligible (near zero) searches, so no-one will be looking for it. 'Lucuma' however is quite good, so hope you have already bought the .com as it isn't available. Hopefully you are using these words as examples??
