Wordpress Plug In Seopressor Not Working

Hi there Warriors.

I bought and installed the Wordpress seopressor plug in by Daniel Tan. I know it is a very powerful seo plug in, but unfortunately I keep getting a warning that the plug in has generated 2 extra characters on installation.

I then get a message saying that i might get further warnings that "Headers have allready been sent..." etc, which inevitably happens.

I have tried going through the Seopressor support desk but I never get much more than a computer generated reply asking for my URL.
After that I hear nothing more. I know that Daniel Tan is a respected seo specialist with a very good reputation, so there must be some reason why I have not got the support I need at this stage

Is there anyone who could help me with this problem. Please PM me if you are able to help. I am willing to pay for the solution. I would like to learn how to fix this by myself in the future as I intend setting up multiple Wordpress Blogs with the seopressor plug in

Thanking you in advance for any assistance you might be able to offer.

Jerry

  • Are you using DB Cache or any other database cache manager to speed up your site? All these plugins seem to work havoc for all other aspects of wordpress. Disable and tryto install.

    • Your not the first person I know of who has had a problem. My buddy Liam bought a copy of the program (unlimited) and has not been able to install it on more than 2 blogs. He's tried to contact Daniel several times and has failed to receive a response. . . not the best customer service IMO.
  • I have it installed on all my blogs, about 15 of them and have no issue with it at all.

    • Yeh try switching off other plugins one at a time and retry Seopressor each time, its possibly a conflict with some other plugin installed on your system.
    • I have had no problems either. I always unzip and then install via Core FTP direct into plugins.
  • My seopressor is function well after installed 10 blogs but now the plugin is pending for activation after activation. This is the message I received.

"You already sent an activation Request for SEOPressor Plugin. You must check your email and confirm."

There is no email received in my mailbox. Can someone help on it? Is there support desk?
  • Purchased it ages ago, sent the activation email (numerous times) and never got a response, sent an email to Daniel and never got a response (great customer support)..........gave up and binned it
  • I activated and configured on my existing blog and it killed it. My index page was completely empty of content after refreshing my browser.

As soon as I deactivated this plugin my content was back.

IMO this plugin should be compatible with everything I have on my blog currently instead of the other way around.

I don't think this plugin will make that much of a difference anyway, if you write your post properly you shouldn't have any problems ranking on your own.

I will try it on a brand new blog but no sense wasting time trying to make it fit into my blog with almost 1000 posts.

Thumbs down in round one with SEOpressor, and the JV conversions suck too.
  • I'm struggling to understand what this does. It seems to just put your keywords in bold or italics, kind of like we all used to do manually 10 years ago. Is that it?
  • That is exactly what it does. Gives you little reminders about H1, H2, H3 tags and then blods, italics, underline stuff in your posts.

Stuff that you should be doing already.

    • Hi Jerry,

The support center tickets are cleared to zero every half daily. It could have dropped in your spam box folder, please check.

Do you have another SEOPressor installation on your blog? Headers already sent error happens with you have 2 plugins of the same name in the plugins folder, the installation will fail.

Please PM me if you need any help. I googled and only find this thread, or I would have responded earlier.

      Jeremy,

You need to update to Version 4.0.

We are constantly updating the plugin following suggestions and reports by our users. SEOPressor now powers over 24 millions Wordpress pages so we have many things going on to ensure it working under various conditions, servers and platforms, which is why we are now version 4. Please PM me if you have not gotten the update already.

Please remove the link to the download too.

      Thank you.

      Daniel

    • *ps price paid $47 not $49

      Daniel,

      Reporting More bugs!

      1. making keyword post/page address will not add any value to the score, like it does not matter. keyword in domain is one of the key factors in seo.

      site.com/yada-yada/
      vs
      site.com/keyword/

      2. NO LSI: I think that at this point of time SEOPressor's ability for onpage optimization is rather primitive.
Without LSI (related keywords ) present how are you going to convince Google that the page is really optimized for a keyword?

You have added no value to a $3.97 software, before you increased the price to $97

      3. A perfect partner for this software would be Market Samurai ( free download - marketsamuraifree.com)

I mean a "MS Seopressor" would be perfect, if someway,
while in Wordpress admin menu, you search for lsi keywords using market samurai and pepper those keywords in the post.

"MS Seopressor", assuming you came up with it, will recognize the LSI keywords to score the post properly using related keywords not a repeated keyword. If you have a 800 word article, you would expect me to use the same keyword repeatedly for 25 to 40 times? That's clearly keyword spamming.
      Thats how Google sees it.
Ask any SEO expert! I have discussed this with several of my SEO buddies who are search engine optimization experts.

Please someone correct me if I am wrong, because I am in need of a good onpage optimization plugin, because its 1/3 of seo
The other 2 being offpage links and activity on site (google's caffeine update)

About your product sales video: It unfairly portrays that onpage optimization is everything. Your software is primitive at best for onsite optimization. Essentially keyword spamming (at the time of this writing)

I would like to really keep your software, and even upgrade it (not for $79 of course, Daniel you crazy? well, may be if LSI is included)
if you are genuinely interested in creating a product that does a good job of onpage optimization.

      I will await your reply.

  • SEOPressor is compatible with WP 3.0.1.

Make sure you have SEOPressor V4.0.

We are at Version 4 now. Version 1 during WSO is so basic and did not even have the sidebar with green checks and red crosses, so apparently, a lot of improvements have been added to SEOPressor. Not only on the front end, our backend team and talent also increases, which will ensure SEOPressor to have a healthy continuous development.

    1. Automatic Nofollow support will be added for next update.
    2. We are going to add a test to the URL and possibly automatically make URL the keyword.
    3. Check to disable testing of headings at theme level will be added.
    4. Roles support will be added, so you can enable or disable access to SEOPressor for different roles.
    5. Plus a few minor bug fixes.

SEOPressor now powers over 11 million Wordpress pages/posts. We strive to be one of the best plugins for Wordpress. If you have suggestions on the features and/or improvements, please PM me, I will add the good, relevant and demanded ones.

    Thank you.

    • Thank you Daniel for your detailed post.

Have I missed the boat regarding getting SEOPressor at a warrior discount price?

      Regards,

    • 1. If you are going to add auto no follow, please make it optional. I prefer to have a do follow on my blogs. It doenst make sense to blog about someone only to tell google, "do not count this link" Then there is nothing to reciprocate.

      4. I dont see a need for that. If your plugin is good, why would I not give access to my registered users? If they can post, they might as well use your plugin to guide them with seo optimization.

      5. Yes that will be nice. Especially keyword spamming bug.

so 11 million blogs have give this plugin a vote of confidence. I have no way to verify that. 11 million germans also democratically elected Hit-ler. Doesnt make him a nice person

I dont believe in giving private suggestions for blatantly gross keyword spamming. Thats why we have quality forums like this, so people can discuss instead of throwing away their hard earned money. Even if it is only $3.97 much less $47 or $97 or $47+$79

Lets see who wants "keyword spamming" bug removed from seopressor wordpress plugin?

be sure to thank me if my 2 cents have saved you $97
