I maybe a bit late with the progress of the iPhone. I just saw the quality of iPhone 4's HD video. Really, really nice.

Here's a movie that's shot and edited entirely on the iPhone 4 / iMovie App (in 48 hours).

    Yep, the video on this thing appears to be very nice and the iPhone can do SO many other things!

    I have a Kodak Playsport that's waterproof which is great for traveling.

    I'm sure it's yet another feature that will be added to the iPhone 5 or 6. Soon it will replace every device you could ever need.

    I can't wait for the microwave and electric bike features! :-)

    One of my friends has an iphone. He says he's waiting to upgrade to the one with the built-in cell tower so he can get reception more than half the time...

      Wow thanks for sharing! Like the video! Pretty impressed with what the iphone can do. Anyone has any idea if iphone can plug in external mic like those lavalier mic for better audio recording?

        I have a Droid X which shoots in HD as well. There is definitely a lot of potential for Apple & Android devices like these. My Droid X phone has an 8MP Camera with shutter and captures awesome images and video on alarge 4.3 inch screen. That said I also own a Kodak Zi8. While I think they are both still on par with each other, the Zi8 does edge out my Droid X due to being able to shoot in 1080p & it's integrated mic in jack which the Droid X doesnt have. What it comes down to is shooting applications. I like having an all in one device on my phone for the obvious reasons of only having to carry one thing. The Droid X definitely does take better photos than the Zi8. The Zi8 on the other hand on a tripod and an external mic connected make it ideal for fixed site shoots where you are doing pitch videos and interviews and sound better than the Droid X videos.

    Holy crap!! After checking out the behind the scenes portion of this video, the editing on the iPhone looked like a freakin nightmare.

    Not that video editing is one of my favorite things to do anyway, but it looked too tedious for me to try on the tiny mobile device.

    Did a good job on the recording, but I think for bigger productions it makes more sense to do the work on the computer in the office.

    But to know you could do this... AWESOME!!

    Once, as a stunt, I built an entire bookcase from stock lumber using only the Leatherman Supertool.

    I measured, cut, and assembled the entire thing using no other tools, proving that you could in fact do "real work" with it.

    Over a dozen years later, I still own a toolbox... but I no longer own a Leatherman Supertool.

    Stunts prove nothing.
