Blog-CHECK-Articles-CHECK..How Soon Now For Money!!!

Ok doing things in order but like most newbies in IM im inpatient. So now that the blog is well indexed Im trying to promote my first CB product. Have a blog post about it, made it also a page on my blog, banners added and wrote about 3 articles JUST on the cb product itself. This all started on Thursday and since now have many pingbacks from the different articles, they are showing up in google but when looked at CB today it only shows 5 hops (I guess that means 5 views to the signup page)

So on avg just from what I did so far (not to mention a few bookmarks as well) when do you see some sales coming back from this work done? I know there is not a writing in stone type of time frame but just on avg how fast do you see sales from articles published and hits to that blog page?

  • It's not about you.

    Unless you connect with the customer and offer a compelling presell you may never make any money.

    You have to ask yourself what is in it for them. What is in your ad copy that is so compelling and creates so much value for them that they would be remiss not to buy now.

    If you can do that then you won't have to worry about money, if you can't you'll be scratching your head forever.

    When I write articles, I write them to reach a large audience...

    If I intend to pitch a product in my article, I write the article on a subject that will allow me to mention the product as one of many available resources, which will answer the need described in the article...

    For example, one of my more successful articles of this type was intended to promote an advertising resource... In the article, I outlined the problems with most advertising resources in the niche, and then I offered counter-point solutions... My target was the first counter-point solution, but I did offer three counter-point solutions... This article generated sales in the mid five-figures for the advertising system I was promoting... The sales numbers I have on the campaign are only directed at the initial sales, not at the quarterly subscription sales on the back-end...

    The "how I wrote the article" was just one factor... In order for it to work, the content had to be strong enough to ensure that it reached large audiences... So I made sure that the problem-solution was appealing enough to a global audience, so that large newsletter publishers could consider it one worth publishing...

    The particular article in my example was strong enough that it was picked up in multiple newsletters, reaching more than half a million targeted readers...
