Need To Make Some Money Quick

Hey guys. I need some guidance, today I need to find an affiliate program that will generate some cash as soon as tomorrow. I have all the skills necessary to build/design and optimize a site within a few hours. The problem I face is picking a marketable product that has a high conversion rate. I've spent the last few months building out a series of affiliate video sites that would have resulted in a nice profit share opportunity for me. I invested close to 15k worth of billable hours in these projects. And in the end, I got burned bad by my partner and now my wife is pissed that I have nothing to show for all my hard work and time away from my family. I'm desperate for a quick way to earn some cash. Lemme know if you guys know any programs or products worthy of investing time and effort into so I can get paid ASAP $$$

Well forget about making money overnight, that's not going to happen.
If you want quick cash in a few days, try posting gigs on fiverr.com and answering people's questions on ideaoffer.com. ideaoffer pays between a few cents and a few hundred dollars depending on the complexity of the project. But it still takes a few days to get money. sking money overnight with affiliate marketing or any kind of internet marketingis a pipe dream and not happening. It takes MONTHS, even years of learning and trying stuff out before you see a red cent. There is a steep learning curve and even the millionaire marketers had to try a ton of things and waste their money on product after product before they figured it out and started making money.

I know I'm dreaming I don't really expect money in the bank overnight,(I'm just behind on bills and broke!) I really want a solid goal that will bring money in a short amount of time.(Like Everyone!) But I do have 9 years of design and development on my belt and I feel its a waste to not be creating opportunitys with all the skills Ive gained.

Those are cool sites you suggested, I've never hear of either of them. It looks like people undersell themselves on fiverr.com. It might be a bit to competitive for me to drop my rates to 5 bucks a pop like allot of those people. Do you use them often?

ideaoffer.com looks interesting, have you had any success with that site? What kind of money can a dedicated person realistic bring in on lets say a monthly basis?

To be honest there is no fast quick way to making cash online unless you have skills you would love to swap for time(making websites for people, writing Articles ect) But with these methods you wont see the cash that quickly

In a space of two whole years using this forum from a complete newbie i have learnt,Studied,Bought numerous WSo's and softwere.Yet none of it paid off until i found methods that worked and stuck with a action plan

Im sorry you have been burnt on the last projects you have been working on however you could re-coop your losses by selling the websites on flippa if there good quality and design. That why you could re-coop some of the lost money but not all.

Other ways is by hiring your self as a article writer or having a skill like i mentioned above to people here, hang round the forum and get to know people and start your own wso service like"article writing 300 words for 10 dollars and see how many orders you would get just a idea but you mentioned you can build websites or know html i presume so theres a skill in itself?

@l23bc I do have some good coding skills but one of the main reasons I been looking for affiliate opportunitys is because of the competitive rates allot of overseas company's charge for design and development in craigslist and guru type sites. I can't stand selling my self short like that.

I like that Flippa Idea though, I'll try checking that out!

What about click-bank or any of those other affiliate sites? are they worth the effort?

  • Not going to happen.

The online world is based on Credit Cards. Until the Credit Card is paid by the buyer the vendors are not going to release funds. And that takes time and they need time to audit to make sure the sales are valid.

If you are serious about doing it with affiliate marketing, you might start with products offered through the Rapid Action Profits script. Can't find the link offhand, but if you search this forum for "instant commission products" the threads listing directories of such products should pop up.

RAP, along with the older $7 Secrets script, are set up to alternate PayPal payments on a per sale basis. In other words, if I were offering 50% commission on a product, 100% of the first sale made with your code would go to me. 100% of the second sale made would go to you, and so on, alternating payments.

If you have the chops you claim, then a combination of instant commission sales and providing services could help you dig out of the hole.

Fiverr.com is simple stuff, I don't think they undersell themselves. You can use a twitter follower software, add few thousand followers and tweet whatever link there for 5 bucks like some fiverr sellers do. Ideaoffer can make you a few bucks here and there, it's like yahoo answers but they pay you for your answers.

If you are good at wordpress and can customize themes, you can make at least $30 a pop here on warrior forum. I hired some guy for such a job but he got so many orders he couldn't keep up with them. It seems that there is high demand here on warrior forum, many new marketers need help setting up micro niche blogs and sites. If you have web design or wordpress skill you might as well do that for quick cash here.

    Hi W3method

Sorry to hear about your dilema. But isn't it one alot of people are facing at the moment.

You sound like you have some incredible skills with building & designing sites ( I wish I had them). Unfortunately even if you were to find an affilliate product you face at least 2 hurdles.

As wonderful as your sites might be, and I'm sure they are, you still have to market yourself/site/affilliate product. One of the earliest lessons I learned was that I could have the best site/product on the web but its no good if no one knows I'm there. I didn't understand this a few years back as a newbie.

Also, even if you sell your affiliate products, they are not goling to pay you out straight away.

Have you thought about selling good PLR Products. At least then you have a Buy Now Button and the money is yours straight away. As long as you pay for some very good quality content you could make your money back and profit very quickly. And don't forget Off Line marketing like your local press. I've sold a few good PLR products this way.

One of the best resources I've found for PLR is Jimmy D Brown. I'm not an affiliate but if you google him it will take you to his blog. He also gives loads of free advise on how to use PLR.

I hope you sort out your problem but to be honest the only way I ever made any money fairly quickly on the Internet was buy selling unwanted stuff on ebay and thats just pocket money really

    Good luck

    Regards

    W3,

You sound very skilled....Go to the Gigs section of Craigslist. Look in the computer section....The beauty is that you're not restricted to your area since many of the skills can be done remotely. So you can find plenty of gigs.

Check out a bunch of gigs and then send out some proposals. Setup a PayPal account and then arrange to be paid half upfront and half at the end. You will get a good response rate.

    Good Luck!

That sounds like a pretty mucked up situation. Maybe try and JV with someone who has a big list if you have a list, and you guys can go 50/50 on all sales regardless of who makes the most. Probably the quickest way to make money, but again you will have to find a good converting product.

Oh one more idea, you said you have design and development skills right? Well this is by no means an overnight method but how about using wordpress to make small niche blogs and get them earning monthly from adsense and amazon and then sell them on Flippa. You don't even have to get them earning, just say their is a potential to earn, you will still sell them, and it will only cost you a doamin name and hosting, and of course time

Yea its an idea thats about it, do you make money like this Steve? Dont think so. Your better off going to Fiverr if you want to make very little money for a lot of work or just send me an email I'll send you in the right direction. Dont want to post my ideas on the forum because it will create a load of competition

Those are great Ideas , I've tried to build out a few wordpress blogs for gaming and PLR in the past but I lack in custom content for the sites. Im better at building scrapers and feed syndications to populate sites. One of my weaknesses is writing unfortunately. You brought up a good point about the JV's I'm always interested as long as there's a demand for the product and my partner is equally dedicated. I made a mistake in my last JV by ignoring red flags in the beginning. I learned allot about what not to do so its not a total loss I guess

feeling your pain, I've been there myself so many times!!

My main advice would be "Go Local"

Market offline, and as locally as possible, take business cards or flyers, or send emails locally, offering a lead product - and get clients from this.

The lead product I like to use is setting up list marketing for people, I put a note through their door, or email them, telling them I'm a web marketer and I can do something right now, very low cost, which could have a dramatic impact on the effectiveness of their website. Because i'm local, this makes it more likely they'll be interested - they drop me an email or phone me, I pop in & explain what it's about - and then I say, OK - I can do this tomorrow as I have a free day - then go & do it, and call back the next day for the money.

You can try to ask for payment up front, but it can put people off as they'll be concerned they'll never see you again , so you can offer 50% upfront 50% on completion, or offer to do it for payment on completion but explain you need the money on day of completion - you work for yourself so you can't give credit. No one will have a problem with that.

The bonus here is that you charge them a fee (test the water & see what you can charge, I find £100 works well, and isn't bad for a few hours work when you need the cash) plus they need to signup for an email marketing service (I use Aweber), and when you sign them up for that, or give them the link so they can, you use your affiliate link, so they still pay exactly the same, but you earn a monthly commission too. It's not a lot with Aweber but every little helps.

If you do it fast, and you get on with the client, and they see that they're getting more business as a result - you'll develop a relationship with them, and hopefully have a client for a long time.

Make sure to tell them that you do web design, and whatever else you can offer to do for them.

This isn't the only good lead product you can do well with locally - there are lots of things that we think everyone knows about, but actually offline, the guy in the street usually knows nothing about, to them simple marketing tools like auto responders, OTO's and so on, are genius!

Try to put together a number of services that you can charge a lump of cash for, try using different ones as leads - and when you have the client, make sure you cross sell / up-sell, and work on marketing all of your other services to your clients once you've got them.

Just think of all the things you know how to do that can have an impact on your clients business. For instance, creating a video of them talking about their product or service, selling the features & benefits - and putting this on their website & on Youtube, to us this is simple & doesn't take long - to many it's not simple & would be daunting - creating pages of content - creating OTO's - even really simple things such as setting up paypal or google checkouts for them & allowing them to sell online, these are all things you can package up & sell for a lump of cash.

Another idea: Say you have a local business, I don't know, for instance an Auto Repair business in twinkletown (I made that up but I actually hope there is a place with that name somewhere....) check out if they have a website, if they don't - buy the domain twinkletownautorepair.com, throw up a site, do some keyword research & keyword mapping, create some pages of original content about the industry or products in general, don't spend too long on it - maybe half a day. Then go see the business (or email them / drop a letter through their door if you don't like face to face selling) and tell them about the site.

Tell them what you like - personally I would just say "I felt like doing it, so I created the site - all the work is done, it'll be on google soon & probably on page one for "twinkletown auto repair" and other related keywords within a relatively short time, and you're selling it to an auto repairer - they're the first person you've gone to see, and they can have it for $x"

The key here is not to be greedy, keep in mind that the domain cost you a tenner or less & it took half a day to do - you want to go in with a price which is too good to turn down, so that the first or second business you approach, wants it.

If money isn't too tight - get a few backlinks, get it indexed on Google - do what you need to to get the page one rankings, then approach the local businesses, you'll probably find that as long as you're not asking too much, the first one you approach will be very keen on getting it before the other guy down the road does.

Obviously you need to do this in an area where there is some competition - if there's only one auto repair business in twinkletown, then that wouldn't work very well

Worst case scenario is, if you can't sell it, you put some adsence on the site - and a note that it's for sale, and your contact details.

Another one is domain flipping - I don't like the mass approach that many use here, I do this in a targetted manner. Look for a local business who is online but is on page 2 or bottom of page one for most important search terms - and who has a domain which doesn't include any keywords - register a keyword rich domain, then go see them or email them, explain that having a keyword rich domain helps, and that you have on they can have for $x - and then also mention that for $xx you can put a search engine friendly site on there for them too, including on page SEO, content creation, etc. Then sell them email marketing set up - and so on ......

Again the key is not to be greedy, the domain cost you $6 or whatever, so even if you only sell it for 30, that's not a bad profit margin with very little effort - and you now have your foot in the door, so you can work on selling them your other services.

    Hope this helps, good luck!!

Yeah I've been hearing more and more about the benefits of domain flipping, I think that I really need to invest some time into these Ideas. I have over 50 domains that I've semi or fully built out for some reason or another. But I just suck at writing content and have limited funds when it comes to hiring Article writers. I know that its well worth the investment if I can just get out there and do it. I will take your ideas into consideration for sure!

Yeah, it depends on how far you go - different people class flipping as different things.

I see domain flipping as buying a domain - and selling the domain, based on establishing a need & making the buyer realise that need. So you register it for $6, explain to the website owner why they need the domain, and then sell it for $30 - for instance. Not big money but pretty huge margin considering little or no time or effort required.

What many call domain flipping, I dont' - I call that building & selling a website!

The other example (auto repairs in twinkletown) is more along these lines, it's more profitable, but more time consuming.

      cheers

So what website do you use flip the domains/make the sale? I know of flippa now.. from an earlier post, and I'm familiar with SEDO.

I have found the process a little confusing. The few I've listed on SEDO in the past never had a shread of luck.

Also, do you happen to follow a strategy or process when you sell/flip a domain or is every case different.

I don't sell a lot of domains, in fact I've only sold a few, this is just something I've picked up on as a bit of an extra earner when I've needed some cash - so I'm certainly not a domainer.

I've not used Flipa, I may try it at some point but I don't really like the look of it, I think you give up too much controll, I may be wrong. I tried Sedo a good while back, found it a load of rubbish personally.

Ref process, like I say I don't really do a lot of it - but just find a way which works for you. I'll PM you some idea's.

TO be honest - of the idea's I mentioned in my reply - domain flipping is probably one of the least important in my opinion, the others are better money makers.

          Cheers

    w3method,

No one knows how you feel like I do lol. I want to make IM work bad, but everyone I think has their hard knocks period (yours sounds pretty harsh). I genuinely feel like the more you try, the more you learn.

If you have any books that you don't want or read anymore, selling those used books is great gas money. Also (I'm just starting with it), I hear Associated Content is pretty good too.

Take a deep breath and try not to feel desperate. It sounds like you have some real skills that can be marketed both online and offline. I think a lot of us here sympathize with you and wish you well becuase it's easy to get burned out there and many of us have been.

I know... I need to chill a little, its hard sometimes. When I woke up this morning feeling totally discouraged about my financial status. the Icing on the cake occurred when our electric bill went through, and my wife noticed only 40 dollars remained in account until the end of the month. I got the wrath from her and decided I was going to hop online and make some money. (If only it was that easy.)

If you're good at design, head on over to 99designs and whip up some custom logos and such. If you you're creative and can design quickly, you can make 5 or 10 logos a day for a few days, hopefully one gets picked netting you some decent change!

if you need money fast, i would start freelancing asap. just get your self out there and you should be able to start getting work. don't be intimidated by the prices of the overseas workers, I would not try to compete with them. just bid for jobs a what you believe your time is worth.

bid on every job you want. then, put some adds out there offering your services. it should not take long to get work.

here are some places to get you started

    Warriors For Hire
Outsource to Freelancers, IT Companies, Programmers, Web Designers from India, Russia, USA, and more
    Freelancer.com | Online Jobs | Freelance Employment | Outsourcing Services | Programmers | Web Design | Freelancers
Guru.com ? Find Freelancers for Hire. Get Your Project Done.
ScriptLance.com Custom Freelance Programming. Outsource web projects to programmers and designers.

vWorker.com: More capable, accountable and affordable. Guaranteed.

    Services Forum

there are a few other marketing forums (that have BST sections) out there that i did not want to mention, but you can find them on your own. The people on them are not as reputable as here, but you can get work there.

once you know the forum a bit more you can run a WSO. you can also put a link in your signature.

while you are freelancing you can start building your own sites and start establishing your own online business. just understand that this will take time.

I think the only genuine way of earning some quick money on the Internet is by writing. Writing is the one field that has the ability to bring some quick money to you.

Cool, I'll try that for sure. I've been setting up my elance profile for a while now. It takes some time to get going, but the site looks worthy. Warriors for hire looks really promising, good advise!

To make money fast requires two things: financial education and skills. Making money in the online world takes time unless you got an established system like a big list, traffic pumping websites, and JV partners.

If you don;t then the best thing to do is just use what you know and apply it either off line or online. Like here on the warrior forum. Sell services and use your skills to create sites for warriors.

The only way else I know in the offline world to make a boatloads of cash fast is through real estate. It takes no money to do it if you know how. I do it all the time. But the learning curve takes a while. So just stick to what you know. Videos is big also. You can do simple vids for warriors also for some quick cash.

@kevl mentioned website and SEO services to offline businesses. It takes quite a bit of time. I found that it is easy to create lead generation mini-sites for offline business. I get them to pay for the adwords traffic and I set up their autoresponder. Most businesses are keen on getting new leads and they have non of the skills that Internet Marketers have.

You can sell them the mini site and charge a fee for setting it up, or rent the site out to them for a fixed monthly fee. They pay for the ad words. Works like a bomb.

I've created a generic 30min video that I give to them as "basic" training etc. You can turn out 4-5 sites in a week if you use a template based approach. And it is not hard starting a conversation with a local business and get them interested. I spend around 1-2 hours a day on this and generate a nice recurring income from it.

I'd like to check out a sample of your work. that sounds like something I might be able to do in my hometown. There's allot of small businesses around here that are desperate for leads. do you generally build out a domain and then approach the company or do you call them up front and offer your services?

PM me and I'll send you a link to a typical site. I had a pm from someone else who saw my post and asked how it works and if I teach it. I thought of putting this into a product ut I'm not really in the IM niche so I don't have lists etc. Would there be interest in such a product?
