Need to Jazz up Youtube Video - Powerpoint

INTERNET MARKETING

Right now I am recording come power point slides with Camstudio as I narrate.

It looks kind of lack luster.

Any ideas on how to make a cool looking videos that would look better than PowerPoint as I narrate?

I do have Sony Vegas

Is there a place for Stock video clips to use?

After some more research I did find some video motion backgrounds. That should spice it up.

I like to use bits and pieces from other Youtube videos as well as mixing in screen captures that are related to what I'm talking about in my videos. Here is one I did using clips from other videos, still pictures, and screen captures all rolled into one.

I did the soundtrack with Audacity.

  A common problem with videos I see these days are from producers who don't take the time to work on their script. That does not mean your audio will sound impersonal, but more so to create a video with good flow, compassion, and value for the viewer.
  
  Use humour, other sources of video, a good soundtrack, and background sound effects to keep your viewer interested.

  You might not realize it, but that's actually infringing on the copyright of the original content creator.
  
  A better (legal) way to do this is to look for, and purchase, licenses to use stock photos and video.

You can jazz up your screen-capture videos using commercial graphics packages - I got one off eBay with 100,000 clip art images and photos. Just make sure the licence allows you to use it in "derivative works" for commercial purposes.
