Google Ranking Question

Hello,

I just looked at my Market Samurai software and it showed that my site for my main keyword was in position #27 of Google. My partner checked his Google and it checked out. But when I typed in my main keyword into Google without quotes, it was showing in #1 spot on Google.

Why the difference from MS and my partner?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Check that you've disabled personalised search results - and that you're not signed in to google, or you'll often get personalised results which feature your own site higher.

some times you will see slightly different results from different datacentres, but if you're searching from the same country, you shouldn't see results which differ this much!

    Cheers

Agree. You should switch off your web history as Google try to act like human being nowadays. They will give you what you want. If you keep looking at your own website, google would have thought you love that particular site a lot and therefore rank it higher for you.
