Adsense cheque Re-issue...help!

Has anyone tried to get their adsense cheque re-issued?
I had placed a request for re-issue about 20 days ago, but I do not see any communication from google or any update in the payments page.

      Once upon a time...(atleast 2 years ago), I got my checked reissued from Adsense.

      The reason being my opting for a normal ordinary post delivery of check in India (where postal services are still unreliable).

      I can't remember exactly, but that time the Adsense team gave a prompt reply to my request.

      The ultimate lesson I learned:

      If the postal service in your country is unreliable, opt for a Standard Express Delivery (which only cost $25 and gives you invaluable peace of mind ). Further, instead of requesting check every month, ask for the check every third month. This way you can reduce the courier cost.
