Social Bookmarking for $5?

by Infinite Shades of Grey 8 replies
I was surfing fiverr.com - a site where people offer various services for five dollars.

A few people were offering to submit your site to 50-75 social media outlets, as well as tweet your url to their 5,000+ twitter followers.

On one hand, for $5, how can you go wrong? On the other hand, there may be a chance they screw it up and get your website slapped down or banned entirely.

I dunno. What do you think?

I seriously don't like taking risks like these.

I mean, yeah it's 5 bucks but if my site gets slapped in the face for having a 1000 links from a link farm type site. It's simply isn't worth the risk.

I simply follow the 5 a day strategy. My goal is to get 5 High Quality backlinks to my site every single day and if I keep that up, I will have a 150 High Quality backlinks in just one month.

This way I am not risking anything and the rewards will be greater.

I use fiverr a lot. I do get the bookmarks and I look for anything over 200 bookmarks for $5..I have never been slapped for bookmarks before...Now backlinks, well I learned my lesson on those spammy ones but bookmarks, facebaook friends, twitters no problems

Dont get me wrong, backlinks work even if there from PR0 to like PR3-4..My major mistake was pointing all the profile links to my main site. THATS what got me lost in goolge. Im trying to correct that now BUT for the bookmarks, articles and web 2.0 pages I make I do use profile links to those just to boost the juice a bit.

fiverr.com works in some cases.Rather than going for $5;their are other SEO companies who provides social bookmarking submission at 1000 or more site.I think it is better to go for a professional SEO company.

I use Fiverr for many small/simple services like the one you mentioned. Most people are legit, but you can always contact them and double check everything before making the payment.

Also, for services like social bookmarking, you need to find a person just once, and then you can hire always the same guy.

I don't think it's a good idea either. I wonder how are they going to submit to those 50-75 social media sites. To me, that's a lot of time consume. Do you believe it? My common sense tell me not to.

It is best to just write good quality contents with SEO keywords. Also, do quality backlinks over time and it will take effect. Patience is the key to success.
