escrow company or ?

I'm starting up a membership site which involves me moving funds from members onwards to two or three service providers whose services I have to pay for, and the members get to use.
I'd like to set this up on automatic, if possible.

I'm not sure the best way to do this.

Could paypal be set up to receive hundreds of small payments and break them down and onwards automatically to three recipients? That would be the whole set up, pretty simple really. The name of the game for me is all about increasing the membership.

I'd like to use an outside service a) to keep the operation as simple and as hands off as possible. b) to give confidence to the recipients until I develop a more established relationship with them.

Paypal can be expensive, not to mention potentially unfriendly even to 100% legitimate businesses, (I'm referring to freezing funds if they suddenly decide I'm making too much money and must be a drug lord or something like that, plus freezing my funds to cover large credit card transactions from customers) are there other choices?

Any other ideas on how to do this? I'm on a wide open learning curve here.

Is this in the realm of escrow services?
