If you can get enough affiliates under you in your chosen program, then you will be making money real soon. I would advice you to try PTCs as you go along in your affiliate program. The best way to start on WF is to search "affiliate". Then spend 20% of your time reading and 80% of your time implementing.

There are several ways to start. I'm doubt people would agree on any one "best" way. Cheap or free is always good.

1. Apply to a program like cj.com. (They don't seem to care much about the website field. You can put almost anything in there.)
2. Build a blogger blog and post information about whatever product you choose to promote.

Do it all again for another product.

The best way is to focus on the niche that you are working. If you are targetting a dog niche, then you might be able to find relevant dog products either in Clickbank and Commission Junction to promote to earn commissions.

Once you have found the products that you would want to promote, then you might wish to go to weebly or blogger to get a free account. Once you have it, you can start to add relevant content to the products that you would wish to promote.

Continue to post relevant contents to the free blog. If you want, it would be good to track the link and see how good it converts. In this way, you would know its conversion before you decide the next move.

Your in the right place, like ilieng stated, just search the forum for posts talking about affiliate marketing, personally just take an evening out a pen and paper and believe me you will have enough knowledge to get you started!

Affiliate marketing is pretty easy if you look down from someone who has been in this field for a while.

For a totally new person, it may see hard and confusing.

Before you do anything, I really suggest that you learn all you can and learn from experience. Take baby steps. Find a good mentor who is doing well and investigate what they are doing on a daily basis that creates that success for them.
