I want to give away a War Room Membership ;) (Welcome Teravel)

Hey Everyone,

I've seen a lot of people, that really want to get in on the Warrior Forum's War Room, but just don't have the money... And I really think there is some cool stuff, in there, and that more people should come in.

Which is why:

The Teen Blogger's War Room Giveaway

Basically I'm going to give away 1 War Room Membership... How about every month??

Now.. Basically, to get in on this contest, you just gotta post below that you want a War Room Membership, then give one random tip that you've learned from this forum.

Other then that.. I have some secret (stealth) things, I am going to look for in each person... (Thats right, I might even look through your posts)..

Now.. Who wants in on August's contest.

Caleb

P.S. will try to give away one a month. However, I can only guarantee August's because like everyone else. I have no idea whats in store in the future

Yeh I want in on this one...
hmm super cool tip i've learned...

I'd have to say that my all time favorite post is probably
    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...d-traffic.html

By Travis Petelle. Reason for this is simple, one of the biggest problems people face in IM is getting traffic. This is a clearly laid out plan to get highly targeted traffic...thus..problem solved (as long as you are willing to do the work)

    So yeh..there ya go :]

Win or lose, thanks for putting this out there..good to know that at the end of it someone will be getting something very valuable out of it.

    Good luck to all

If I could thank you more than once I absolutely would. Your an incredibly generous person considering that you didn't even run a contest..

I wish you nothing but the best in everything you do.

Not a problem, but this is Caleb's thread so not to steal his thunder ...
just someday when you make a lot of money, get one for someone you think is deserving.

I'm already a member but it looks like half the responses are from War Room members anyway, so I figured I'd add mine

That quote above is a great idea. Every so often I feel like clicking "thanks" or even posting a comment to say it isn't really enough for the value of the post.

Now I have a way to say it more meaningfully, at least if the person isn't already a member of the War Room.

I want in. And what I learned from this forum over the past 2 days that i've been a member is (super cheesy) - "be nice to other people".

I wasnt a member, I was just looking around and decided to join the forum because Denis was giving away the membership. He eliminated all the people who didn't have anything nice to say about others. My comment was "I want in, i need this". And he still sent me a small package later on.

So yeah, as cheesy as it sounds - i learned that you have to create a relationship before anything if you want to really succeed.

Caleb, I really wish I could have figured this out when I was your age.

I did start with IM when I was 15 but I didn't "make it" until after my 16th birthday

    Nice job there buddy.

I really appreciate what you are doing.

    Keep it up

EDIT: I think I should start a Caleb Fan Club

Caleb is a very special young man who shows us that IM has nothing to do with age. I have said in an earlier post that I am a big fan.

Caleb you are very generous to offer a War Room membership. I would love to participate in your contest.

I learned a lot here in WF in a few days. The most important lessons were:

      *Take action!
*The kindness of the members and the intention to help each other.

I do hope if you use your "secret (stealth) things" that you forgive me my bad English because I'm dutch

      warm wishes,

I have learned that some of the most generous individuals on this planet are right here on this forum ready to help us newbies out and never in a condescending way -- no matter how basic the question is.

I have learned that money is not fun for most people because most people do not realize that you have to understand it and if you are negative about money, or are consumed by it, you are never going to have a lot of it. Your financial plans are never going to succeed. I did not originally learn that here but it sure applies with some of the WSOs I have seen and unfortunately purchased.

You ask and receive not because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts.

      Caleb,

I already have a War Room membership, but I just wanted to say that I've been watching your posts, and you seem to be a wonderful, even remarkable young man.

It's not just the fact that you've achieved a level of IM success at your tender age. You are graced with maturity, kindness, and helpfulness.

And now you're demonstrating generosity coupled with imagination. Your tips contest will benefit many on this forum.

Whether you continue in IM or move in other directions as your interests develop and possibly change, I am 100% certain you will have great success.

If I can say this without appearing to patronize you, because that is far from my intention: Kudos to you, young man!

Caleb you really are an inspiration annoying because you are so young and I am twice your age (okay you are not annoying I am just jealous)....

I would like in to August's drawing.

    With all the great information here on the Warrior Forums, its hard to choose One piece of advice that is the best. Some of the best advice I have found here would include;
~ "Just Do It!!" - As in, stop complaining, stop researching, stop procrastinating, and just do the simple work that will get your business started!
~ "The more you give, the more you receive." - If you put out bad information, you will get bad results. If you put an effort into your work, you will find it rewards.
~ For anyone that is new, or is in the "I can't invest" mindset, here is some great information that anyone can easily do. http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...o-excuses.html

Everything you could possibly want to know about Internet Marketing can be found here on the Warrior Forums. If I was to give personal advice, it would simple be...

"Learn to Love the Warrior Forum Search Tool"

Getting to know the Search function is like being given a key to Fort Nox, and having the guards let you do as you please. Just remember that while Information is required, you must take action in order to succeed. You could learn everything there possibly is to learn, and die without ever putting it into practice. Stop living in the "But's" and just start something. Even if it's just a free blogger that you practice with. Also, don't stop dreaming.

    ~ Teravel

P.S. You would think that the amazing information found in these forums would be enough to prove it's value, but still it's member keep giving. Thank you for this opportunity to peak into the minds of great marketers.

One thing I learned for sure from Warrior Forum is that success in Internet Marketing is no easy feat. This is evident in my current struggle in IM, having yet to make my first sale at all.

On a more specific tone, I learned that 'what you achieve is what you give'. This definitely has given me an insight to how IM should really be done.

Yes, I have no money or rather no credit card, and I can't pay for the War Room Membership, so I sincerely hope I get this. And even if you do choose me, please do not pick me out of pity but rather to your requirements.

what i learned in this forum:

    Build strong links.

One way to attract more visitors to your website is to build strong inbound links. Remember that every visitor to your website can be a potential customer. Thus, internet marketers are encouraged to work on quality link building.

How is it done? Check out websites and other online business that complement your own business. Get in touch with the business owner or the webmaster and offer a link exchange. By building outbound links, you can increase your website traffic and reach out more potential customers through your website.

This is so exciting! Caleb, how can I even begin to thank you. You have given me a chance to see into the minds of brilliant people, and it is a true honor. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.

There was so much great advice I wanted to give, but I knew I had to narrow it down. I guess this is my time to give as much advice as I can, so lets see what I can come up with off the top of my head.

    1) There are no stupid questions. But, there are questions that have already been answered. Instead of reposting the same old 'How do I?', use the search function to see what information is at hand.

    2) Take Notes! Don't just write down what you were told. Look at each step, and break it down into smaller steps that are easier to manage. Doing this will show you that you can do the work without struggling, which will build confidence. So when you see "Step X: SEO" Don't get scared. Just look at your note that says "SEO: step x - y" and follow the simple steps that you have created for yourself (With notes!)

    3) Build trust! Between you and your customer, you and other warriors, you and your family. Trust is what brings people together, and it will help you in many more ways than you can believe.

    4) Use manors! There are so many people out there who forget the simple things in life. A simple Please could get you an honest response about a question. A thank you could grant you a new friend to help when your struggling.

    5) Pay Attention! When you ask a question, or see a question asked that you want the answer to, don't just read through till you find the answer you are looking for. Look at who is posting the response. If it's someone with 6 posts, it may not be the whole picture. If it's a war room member with 3,000 posts, you can bet the information has been tested and proven to work at least some of the time.

    6) You have to Follow before you can Lead. My father used to ask if I was a Leader or a Follower. "You don't want to be a follower and do what everyone else is doing. If they all jumped off a bridge, would you? No, so be a leader and people will follow." Heres the problem with that. If you lead without knowing where you are going, you will only lead yourself and others to failure. Instead, follow those you know to be successful, and learn all that you can from them.
A great way to get information is to go into your own profile, and check through the posts that you have made. As your reading through these old posts, find responses from people in the War Room that have 800+ posts. Click on their names to go to their profile page, and start reading some of their posts.
Be careful using this idea, as it can lead to deeper questions, and tactics you never thought possible. This of course can also lead to Information Overload, which should be avoided.

6a) A few brilliant minds that I enjoy reading old posts from include the following people. (Please don't bug them with personal messages. They have helped build this amazing forum, so give them some respect) This is in no special order, and I have no favorites.

Steven Wagenheim, Zeus66, TMG Enterprises, Alexa Smith, and Dennis Gaskill. (There are more, but this should help you get started) Thank you Warriors!

    7) Learn to take breaks! What I recommend for this is to work for 1 hour, then take 10-15 minutes to walk around, stretch, find a snack, go for a jog, read a few posts (like this amazing one that turned my 10 minute break into an hour of shock), or do other things. This 10-15 minutes should be used to clear your mind, let go of the stress, and hopefully do something that will get your blood flowing.
Do yourself a favor, and test this. Do an hour of work as your normally would, and see how far you get. Then take a 20 minute break. During this break, find a drink (non-soda/coffee/caffeine), then do some basic exercises (Stretching, Stair climbing, go for a 10 minute walk, etc). Once you get your heart pumping a little (not to the point of exhaustion), come back and do another hour worth of work. See how much you get done. It will usually be more because increased blood flow leads to faster thinking.

And Finally, the most well known line on the Warrior Forum that I can think of...

    8) TAKE ACTION!!!!
How can anyone stress this enough. It doesn't matter how many Systems you buy, or how many 'Gurus' you think you have teaching you things. If you don't put that information into practice, and learn from experience, you will never achieve anything other than simple studies. Yes, take the time to learn what you need to. But, hone your skills by putting what you read into action! A simple Blogger Blog that you practice designing in order to figure out how things are done, could turn into a profitable website that you can expand into a full business.

I know I said finally, but this one must be said...

    9) If you are not making a profit from the Internet, DON'T SELL A "Interner Marketing Ebook"!!! The Warrior Forum has been saturated with myths and legends for some time now. A few are due to people making guesses, and trying to break into the 'Make Money' Niche. Yes, you can make a quick buck doing this... But do you think those people will ever buy a product from you again if your first one was crap? Would you?

I really hope that someone finds this information useful. I have learned so much from the Warrior Forum, and I can't begin to imagine giving back even a percent of a percent of what I have learned.

Thank you once again for this great opportunity.

    ~Teravel

P.S. Sorry the post is a mile long.

If that post was 'off the top of your head' then I shudder to think what you would have written if you'd had more time... brilliant.

Congrats to you and the others that have been sponsored, and a special thanks to those that did the sponsoring ( Caleb, Suzanne, Jan )

      What a place this is!

Well, don't choose me because I am joining the WR today. After I read all the posts, I just wanted to make this comment. The only reason I haven't joined so far is because I have been in so many paid memberships that you would not believe and some were monthly payments and were not worth what I was paying. I recall one I could not get support when my computer crashed to get a password resend(and this was a monthly payment).

In this forum however I don't hear any of the negative language that goes on in many forums just because people are doing the best they can, or someone gets shot down because they ask a question or someone is not appreciative because an answer is not exactly what they want.

When I read Caleb's post, I decided to do some research on the wr and I am joining and I probably will cancel some the other email lists I am on(maybe get them to join my list)so I can quit taking up all my time outside and use that time to read some of the WR stuff.

Keep up the good work Caleb.
