I have been soaking up pages and pages of information. Literally everything i can get my hands on.

Many people have said that there are hundreds of different ways of making money online and i believe that this is true. The problem that i am facing what do i go for;
- CPA
- Video marketing
- Niche sites
- Flipping sites
- Adsense

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

There is too much choice! I know people say commit yourself to one thing and then go from there. I was thinking about promoting clickbank products to start and the move onto CPA. However i like the idea of Video marketing.

I know there is no "right" answer however i would like to know what you do and why you chose it.

  • learn how to drive traffic (targeted traffic) to your site or promotion
If you learn how to do this the rest is easy

Find a system that works best for you be it article marketing or PPC
The moneterising of it afterwards isnt that hard
    Its all about traffic

    • ...and content. Once you get the traffic, you got to convert them.
  • Start with something that is basic, like Adsense. With an Adsense site, you need to know how to design a site, write content, position ads, use Wordpress, etc. Then you learn to drive traffic. Easy does it.

If you can make that pop and bring in some income, then you'll be ready to take on things like copywriting, designing landing pages, building lists, etc.

I say do it in an order that builds on itself. If thought out properly, you can maximize efficiency while building your empire.
  • Yep...I hear you. All I can say is take one approach and jump in. Get your feet wet. When I started 6 years ago I simply created a web page of links with comments from myself in my niche. It was a pretty crappy page, but it did teach me some things that I used when I moved on to the next thing.

Don't fall into the trap of paralysis from analysis. So I would suggest grabbing one full system and try it. Then start modifying and fiddling with the system as you are doing it.

One thing I would suggest however is that you begin building an email list as soon as possible. But go head on and have some fun...You will probably look back at your first attempts as helpful but not great when you are further down the road...

    • If you have a website, adsense might be the way to start. You can sign up for google adsense, insert the code and promote your website.
  • When I started, I chose services, because it is easier to get repeat business than to always chase new business...

Whatever your choice, you should factor in your own strengths and weaknesses to understand what is the best channel for YOU...

While services may have been perfect for me, they may be the worst choice for you...
  • Even after 3 years with a couple of my websites - which are actually doing quite well - I still struggle with building traffic to them. My content is good, but traffic seems to be an extremely important factor - and, as Espresso mentioned above - Targeted Traffic.

So, I guess from my own experience, I would have to answer that I began by selling "hard goods" (versus information), and concentrated on SEO and then trying to build the traffic. After I had a little experience, I added Adsense - which pays a little bit and appears to be growing. But, I also notice that in order to make a significant amount with Adsense, I need... you guessed it! ... More Targeted Traffic!

Good luck with your own ventures! There is a LOT to learn here!
