ive heard different numbers. but usually in a range from 2-6 months.

so how long of a span should it take before you can monetize your campaign?

It all depends on your niche and keyword research. If you find a hot niche with little competition, your rankings should be pretty high right off the bat. Now it all boils down to content.

If you have number 1 SERP on google you will still go nowhere without good content or a great squeeze page.

The trick is to catch a trend on an upswing... that could make you some good ROI in as little as a week or so.

Also depends on the type of website If you're going for a low competition keyword and a small 5-6 page website you can monetise as soon as you're indexed by google.

It depends mostly on your competition...

If you have a few small sites competing with you, it could come quickly, as little as a few days...

If you have a dozen deep pocket competitors, it could take years at the minimum to accomplish your goals...

For me: depending on the campaign and strategy it can be one day to 2 years to get a return on investment.

SEO is a massive skillset and can be applied in a massive array of business models. So it varies a lot
