Warriors,

I have had FANTASTIC luck grabbing local business using printed fliers. Storefronts, paperboxes, etc. The problem is, my graphic designer decided on a mid-life career change!

Can anyone point me to someone who can design fliers for print? I am looking for a creative individual with marketing flair. I checked Warriors for Hire, but didn't find anyone that offers this service...any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

  • Hi Mac,

I provide print ready artwork. I don't generally publicise it, seeing as sales pages and banners generally keep me busy. But I'd be happy to discuss.

I'm in the middle of a redesign on my portfolio site: eCoverNinja – High Impact Web Graphics Specialist
at the moment, but the contact form is active, which is the best way to get in touch.

Looking forward to speaking with you.

    Kindest regards,
    Karl.
  • Why do you need a designer? If your fliers are working, why not just photo copy them?

    • Karl, will PM you.

Jacer, offers and terms change...business is NEVER static...in addition, I do marketing work for local clients and would love to have a provider I can count on for them as well...:-)

  • Mac,

Are you getting clients for your writing business?

    Or for other online services?

I have wanted to venture offline, but did not know where to start.

    Thanks,

    • Hey Rien,

This is not specifically for my writing service. I HAVE done some fliers for offline client for services which can INCLUDE my writing services but those would be comprehensive packages including comprehensive marketing packages to help them increase their online presence. I usually use postcards mailed to a pre-qualified list though. What I am looking at for these fliers is my offline personal training business. I have had luck in attracting high end clients for personal training services with the right packages as personal traiining and fitness is one of my passions...

  • I'm a firm believer in supporting your local economy whenever possible. It's entirely possible, you could have a talented graphic artist with a flair for marketing right in your own backyard. Can't hurt to Google it, and find out.

    • Actually David, I am on the board of directors for the Howard County CHamber of Commerce...plenty of graphic artists around, but I prefer to look to Warrior Forum FIRST as so many warriors have helped me out and I in turn have helped them...appreciate the suggestion and understand where you are coming from though.

  • How many fliers, are you distributing a week? Are you doing this yourself or have hired someone to do it for you?
  • I can help you out with the flyers. I'll PM you.
  • The Magic Show,

I don't have a SET number of fliers...but this endeavor is for a personal training business...I will hit about 100 high end homes in the West part of my county per week...then after a month, I will base my future marketing endeavors off the results I have achieved...might need more fliers, might need to tweak message, might need FEWER fliers. For marketing services, I aim for 200-250 pieces weekly. I deliver actual fliers myself (sometimes with my 8 year old daughter or a buddy in the passenger seat) or use regular mail for postcards or letters sent specifically to a protected targeted list...

    • I guess I'm kinda old school - have you tested fliers that aren't so graphical? All of the fliers that I've used have been mostly text. If I use graphics, I'll simply use a royalty-free pic and slap 1 on. Nothing fancy and I did get decent results.
  • Hey CHarles,

No question the message can pull, but I have found that a well designed flier with some striking graphics can get noticed in and among all the other junk folks look at on a daily basis...of course, the key is always a kickass HEADLINE...if that pulls em in, you are good to go. Having said that, I simply suck at formatting or anything graphic design related, which is why I love to have a GO TO guy or gal.

    Mac
