That's a good suggestion. Many of these sites run link exchange scripts and is not that hard to get some relevant back links. I once hired a data entry person for a week and got my client over 140 relevant and decent PR back links. You can try that route too.

10-20 visitors a day...an article a day in each niche along with a supporting blog post is a good start, yes?

Title,Body,Resource box's anchor. Yes, having a site that has good onpage SEO, is always a benefit. I highly recommend you get a tool such, as market samurai to do your keyword research. If you fail on the keyword research aspect, your chances of making money is slim to none.

Of course the best way to keep from becoming frustrated is to simply do nothing. If you don't try something you can't fail. Works like a charm. Problem is you can't succeed either.

If you are frustrated it must mean you are trying something. So you are half way there. Just getting the average person to try something can be a task. So pat yourself on the back and keep on keeping on. Lots of good advice in this thread. This is what works for me.

Writing and submitting articles. I know I can hear the groans from here. But it really is simple. But you have to go to a very strange place to make it work. Most folks have not been to one of these places since they got their first computer. They still call these places libraries and they have these magical little books called dummies or Idiot's guides.

Lets say you want to build a site about solar energy and you would like to have 10 articles. Five to put on the site and five to submit one a day to article directories. So you pick up the Solar Energy for Dummies book. Open it to any chapter and read two pages. Take a few notes. Resist the temptation to copy anything directly. Just reword it in your own style. I guarantee you can have your first article in about 30 minutes and once you get the hang of it you will do even better.

Another technique I use is to go to Amazon and find a product you need articles for. Look at all the manufacturers descriptions and again make notes. Your article could then be Current Methods Of Producing Solar Energy.

Then I just looked up various mountain types of mountain bikes, which I know absolutely nothing about, and described each one. The problem with this style of writing is that it is hard to stop at 400 words because it just flows once you get started.

I have a friend who has been a radio personality for years. He wants to build blogs but says he can't write. I almost fell off my chair when he said that. He has been talking for 5 hours a day for years and can't write. I told him to get a voice recognition software and just go to work.

Certainly there are other methods of finding traffic as are listed in the above threads. But article writing is one that costs nothing and you will be the toast of the next party with all that knowledge you gain from writing articles. Want to know something about mountain bikes? Give me a call.
