Hello everyone

I am new here and to IM. I'm trying to work out and create a funnel from the squeeze page and am struggling and need some help. The questions I would like to ask are:

1. On my squeeze page, I have an ebook offer. Should I offer to sell the full version on the last page of the ebook or send out an auto responder email after 3-5 days or so. Which is better in your experience.

2. The Sales Page: Is the sales page on the same domain as the squeeze page ? If so, customers can visit the sales page if this gets indexed in Google and they can by-pass the squeeze page ?

Your help will be very much appreciated.

Best

    Oz,
I'm trying to work on this, too.
I'm going to offer the full ebook on the last page of the free one. Hey, it works on me in some of the sample chapters I download for my Kindle, lol - it might work in the free part of my ebook! But I would also put a gentle reminder in the autoresponder after 3 days or so, saying something like "you've had time to read through it, I hope you learned something about [the topic]" and then a little sales pitch for the full version.

I was also thinking I could drop the free version into Scribd and some torrent sites to try to distribute it some more, so putting an upsell to the full version on the last page might catch a few more fish through those channels, too.

Thanks Hoopatang. I was going to do the same. Offer the full version on the free ebook and then send an email after 5 days once they've had a chance to read it.

interesting. I have heard some guys say a daily email is the way to close sales. I am just starting so I'm not sure yet. Some say it's too much but other say it's all about selling stuff.

Depends on many variables. If it's a list of buyers, you can hit them pretty hard (as long as you overdelivered with what you sold them). If it's a list of prospects who came in through a freebie, you'll lose them in droves if you send sales pitches every day. You have to develop a relationship and build trust first with prospects. Give, give, them give some more. THEN hit them with really good deals on your stuff (or trusted affiliate products).
