Public Domain Movies, which company/sites to get from? Need Help.

Hello Warriors,

I'm looking around for companies or sites that sell Public Domain Movies.
I understand there are a few around. The Copyrights of these movies have not been renewed. There are a few movies whose rights are not renewed in the U.S. Then there are movies whose rights are not renewed worldwide.

Does any Warrior know of a good site that does not charge 'an arm and a leg' to acquire a movie or a list of movies. Will manufacture & do the packaging on my own. Just need the movie content.

There are some great classics across the various genres - Action, Animation, Documentary, Comedy.

I came a cross 1 site - Film Chest. Left them a couple of emails, but still no reply from them. The site has a few interesting services, but one needs to enquire on the charges for each service.

Please do let me know, if anyone can help me in this area. At this time of the year, I'm trying to gather some X'mas Public Domain Cartoon, Documentary or Movie.

    Take a look on eBay - there are a TON of PD films/cartoons for sale

    Either look for items that have a "homemade" cover or actually state it is PD int he auction, or use one of the sites that have them for sale and x-ref.

    In terms of sites archive.org has some.

    In terms of movies for sale check out a2zcds.com - again once you have a title, you can sometimes find it online

    Thank You for the heads up. I'll have to go check what you've mentioned. Will write down here what I've descovered. I hope its what I'm looking for.

    I remember over here, i once stumbled upon a thread for ecover services. The Warrior providing such services displayed a minisite he designed that was about B - movies membership. For like $27 a mth, members will receive a DVD each mth on a different movie.

    I'm actually looking for movies like - Santa conquers the Martians, The Bogeyman, Creepers ...etc.
