Local SEO - a little bit of advice (subdomains)

Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of going down the local SEO route...giving it a go! I'm going to offer 2 main services;

1. local SEO

2. lead capture

Before I offer anything I want to get some lead capture sites setup & this is where I need some advice!

DOMAIN OPTIONS:

1. individual domains eg. citykeyword.co.uk

With this option I could probably pick up some good domains - .co.uk cost about $4-5 per domain per year.....so it could work out expensive to get a lot of them

2. sub-domains eg city.keyword.co.uk

3. wordpress site with pretty url eg keyword.co.uk/city

I probably would not get such a dense keyword, but the costs would be a lot lower

Has anyone had any experience with this and if so, what are your thoughts!

    I'm partial to the individual domain option because it gives you more options down the road.

    The individual option will not only let you generate leads for clients but you could also sell that domain to a client down the road for a large lump some payment.
