Hi Chris-
Bravo! You are right on. There are so many sites out there that promise you the big bucks. I joined Chris Farrell this year and the thing he stresses is that with traffic and offers, you cannot be successful. So much for all those that say all you need is a blog. I tried and the thing that wors is the traffic.

  Yeah I never said anything about it going to be effortless, yeah the traffic part does require some effort and some serious ACTION!

Good post! You are correct. Driving the traffic is the hard part. The methods you listed for driving traffic take a lot of work and I think that the work is what ultimately scares many off.

Comprehensive Front-end and Back-end strategies
Business Financial Planning

An exit strategy (in the event of disability or death or some other event). Actually this goes under business financial planning but wanted to point it out since most people don't have one.

yup these are the advanced strategies that will take your business to new heights.

I would also like to ad to this list testing this is key always test. I remember back when I first started online I heard people talking about testing and just brushed it off.

I could have saved some serious time and money if I just tested from the start.

I never said anything about "orders" I said "offers" for example a zip or email submit CPA offer does not require the user to pull out a credit card and buy anything, but you get paid per lead.

I know you already knew this though

just stating this for all the newbies really or anyone who does not know what it takes to make money online.

Yeah these are good points you make I never said it was going to be that easy, just stating that those are the ingredients you will need in order to make money.

What I recommend if you are a newbie you master one form of traffic first then move on to the next once you have mastered it. And if you do not know how do drive traffic to your offers google it, youtube it or better yet read post and ask questions on this forum.

All the information you need to know is right in front of your face and you don't even know it (or over look it I should say). And you most likely can find it all for free if you look hard enough.

And like I said the best place to start learning what you don't know about internet marketing is this forum it is pure gold...

1) maximized prices
2) maximized units sold
3) minimized costs

Actually to tell you the truth I saw that post right after I submitted mine... no lie.

And yes you do need conversions, but like I stated in my post you only need a decent offer to start of with. Meaning one that will convert, so yeah I guess I'll give you that one

Now I will ad one more thing to that list that I should have said before and maybe the biggest one of all is tracking. Track track tack... I use to over look this and said that I did not need to do this.

I thought I could pick a offer send some traffic and that I would just start tracking when the sales started coming in. This does not work and you never want to do things twice. So make sure you setup your tracking first before you even start running any traffic to your offers.
