Did you ever notice that the more traffic you get the more people come to your site and email you things like, "tired of not getting traffic? We can help just hire our trained team and start making money today, reply for an estimate" (not an actual email but it is similar to the kind of stuff I've been getting)

I don't know why it is, but when my site was getting 200+ people a day I got one of these emails every other month.

When I was getting 400+ people a day I was getting 1 about every 2 weeks.

Now that my main site is getting 1000+ unique visitors a day I got like 8 this week.

I'm not sure if I am on a list, but it seems like people are doing it all backwards here.

Sorry if I affended everyone, I just thought I'd share the random though that poped into my mind after reading my site emails.

    It's not just a matter of traffic. People can scrape links off the search engines and automate message submissions to sites (with the type of message that you received).

    You can set up filters in your mail program to send them to the trash if you don't like them.

      well once you get a certain amount of visitors they find you, until then you are under their radar, dont waste your time with them though because nothing good comes out of it

    yep happens all the time, most of it is automated

    I have a site I send out backlinks automatically which I track, every time I send out a series of backlinks my blog get hammered for comments, when I look at my real time tracker no visitors so they are definitely bots

    I suspect email is no different

    I happened to me too. I think the email scape is annoying. Yeah either unsubscribe them or trash it.
