The Trouble w/Google Trends is...
Even with pulling the RSS/Atom feed they provide; its all jumbled up into a listing and you can't do anything with that data except pull the feed and look at it and say, "OH! Cool!"
If only there were a way to separate those listed items out so I could at least deal with 'em one at a time; like pull the feed and parse out ONE item at a time... or pick and choose which ones I wanted to play with.
dammit!... oh, wait.. Yahoo Pipes!

P.S.: for those that know how to play with RSS feeds enough to build content sites out of 'em, this is HOT; and you should know why. Parse the search phrases out and use them to factor in some other dynamic data pulling to monetize the trends and you have a cash cow with perpetual traffic!
P.P.S.: once I've done it, I'll give the WAR room access.
