If I make a video and I need to zoom in on a particular area, I always had to do it in the 'editing' phase. A real pain in the neck and one of the reasons I don't like making videos is because of having to fiddle about with them afterwards. Then I watched a video where someone said you could zoom in just by using the scroll wheel on your mouse. Tried it but didn't work with my mouse! (and yes, I checked my mouse settings, lol, but the option wasn't there).
What Else Are You Not Telling Me?

So off I went and bought a better mouse. Not a huge deal but still I could have saved a tenner if it had been pointed out to me that all I needed to do was hold down the control button while scrolling.
Strange because I've just answered another post and talked about the fact that often experienced IM'ers take some stuff for granted and just expect everyone else will know about it. I didn't. So I'm willing to bet there's a lot of others out there who don't.
Anyway, if you want to zoom in while you're recording instead of have to fiddle about editing after you've made the video, just hit control and scroll with the mouse wheel. And yes, this works even if the mouse doesn't have the option of using the scroll wheel to zoom in - I went back and tried it with the old one.
Now I'm wondering just what else is so simple that nobody has bothered to mention it?
