I am considering purchase of an IPAD or an Iphone.

I was wondering if either of these allow me to open up my own pdf files transferred from my computer. The clickbank books and other books we have on our hard disk. Can they be transferred on and used?

Or does Apple only allow you to access stuff brought from that lame appstorE?
