Moving Prospects to Your Buyers List (Video)

For those of you who might be on slower connections, basically I go over how to quickly get set up to move prospects from one list at Aweber to a new Buyer list that you set up. This is kind of List Management 101 type stuff, but a lot of newer list builders don't do this.

The idea is simple...

Put new subscribers on your Prospects list. Build a relationship with them first. Encourage some back-and-forth with surveys and polls and just by asking them some questions. Read their responses and reply back! That goes a LONG way toward building trust and setting you up for lots of sales a bit later.

Once you do start sending sales pitches to your Prospects, you want to set it up so if they buy something they migrate automatically to your Buyer list. That way, you don't keep hitting people over and over with sales pitches for products they've already bought. That will hurt your relationship with them and probably get you a lot more unsubscribes.

Once someone is on your Buyer list, they're proven themselves to be willing to trust you and spend money when you ask them to. Treat them well! But also, don't be afraid to go back to them with future offers. You will probably be amazed by the high conversion rate from your Buyer list!
