When building a site promoting clickbank products, should one have a squeeze page as their landing/home page with an email opt in and a short amount of copy giving away a free report? Then, in the footer links, link to pages within the site where articles are posted (which will also have the email opt in form)? With this format, email marketing would be the sole form of promoting the products.
Or is it better to have more of a blog format with the email opt in located in the sidebar etc and affilate adverts and reviews scattered throughout the site? I am more inclined to use the squeeze page but my main concern is that people will only be able to navigate around my site if I include text links on each page (which is fine).
Any input would be appreciated. Many thanks.
