Social Bookmarking Question

I'm thinking about using Onlywire.com or Socialmark.com and I was wondering with the amount of sites that these 2 include is this all the submission that I would need to do for social bookmarking each time I have a new site or blog?

For each new blog post you should do the following at the minimum:

Ping the post at pingler (dot) com
Social Bookmark each post using service or software
Submit To Blog Carnival, there is software to do this but you can do it manually
Submit RSS Feed using service of software
Submit to Digg, Mixx and Delicious manually

Anyway to your question, the answer is yes onlywire.com and socialmark.com will be enough Social Bookmarking for your blog posts.

@sportsfan54 -- I've been using a free/paid tool called socialadr lately. SocialAdr - Automated Social Bookmarking Submission

So far it's been very easy to use.

I like these guys too, for two (primary) reasons:

        1. It's Human Powered. It's actually people leaving the bookmarks from IP addresses all over the world, and I leave bookmarks for them in return.

        2. They keep on bookmarking the same sites, over and over. There's less than 20 bookmarking sites included presently, but your content can be bookmarked up to 20 times at each site. This gives you a chance to be included in "Most Popular" type lists at the site, gaining even more exposure to traffic.

They're not perfect by any means, but they do what they say they will do, and it runs pretty much on auto-pilot. So that's cool.

        Best wishes.

Great social marketing protocol. Thanks for that. I use Unique Article Writer to submit hundreds of spun articles and then Google Alerts/Social Mention to get notifications of those UAW articles that google spiders. Would it be helpful to use your aforementioned protocol on each of those articles for which I receive a Google Alert/Social Mention?

Oilerblue your not from around Houston, Tx. by any chance, with the name Oilerblue I thought you may be a Bum Phillips or an Earl Campbell fan?

Anyway yes I would think that it would help to use the protocol for your submitted articles. For sure the bookmarking and the RSS feed submission.

LOL...i get that alot. Originally from Edmonton (Oilers), Canada. Isn't pinging services, i.e. pingomatic, pingler, etc. also rss feed submissions? or do you use a separate service for those?

Man that never even crossed my mind and I actually enjoy watching hockey but not as much as football...LOL. I am a big time Cowboys fan.

I use pingler for every blog post, I then use RSSBot by Incansoft to submit to the RSS Directories most of the time. From time to time I will also have my posts submitted manually by BYTDL.

How much traffic would you say that RSS bot brings you, after auto submitting your RSS feeds to multiple RSS directories?

Not completely clear on rss feed submissions. The feed is the same for my blog, regardless which post i am submitting through onlywire or digg, mixx, and delicious, right? so, do you still submit your rss feed after each blog post, if it has been submitted for a previous post from the same blog since the feed is the same for every post? or am i missing something here?

also, if you are submitting your post through only wire and mixx, digg, and delicious are being serviced by onlywire, do i submit AGAIN manually as per your instructions?

      thanks, in advance.

You can pick those websites which can provide you good traffic.

Using software for social bookmarking and directory submission is not advisable.

    @sportsfan54:
BlogCarnival is a A Place to Get to Know One Another and Share Your Blogs and Knowledge.

A Blog Carnival is a particular kind of blog community. There are many kinds of blogs, and they contain articles on many kinds of topics. Blog Carnivals typically collect together links pointing to blog articles on a particular topic. A Blog Carnival is like a magazine. It has a title, a topic, editors, contributors, and an audience. Editions of the carnival typically come out on a regular basis (e.g. every monday, or on the first of the month). Each edition is a special blog article that consists of links to all the contributions that have been submitted, often with the editors opinions or remarks.

There is so much stuff in the blog-o-sphere, just finding interesting stuff is hard. If there is a carnival for a topic you are interested in, following that carnival is a great way to learn what bloggers are saying about that topic. If you are blogging on that topic, the carnival is the place to share your work with like-minded bloggers.

Blog Carnival is the place to come to find carnivals you are interested in, to submit your blog articles to carnivals where they belong, and to organize and maintain carnivals.

There are many free online services which submits your RSS feed to dozens of RSS Directories. You can Search them on google.

I hope It will help you.

Firstly you can check or un check each of those social bookmarking sites you want.
But i think submitting in all of those social bookmarks is not needed. So you can do your submission manually too. which is safer but needs time.

It can be a lot of work. I have a team in PH who I purchased bookmarking demon for and they are enjoying that. I suggest outsourcing this aspect if you have lots of sites that you need bookmarked on a regular basis.

Both these sites automate the social bookmarking process to the many internet social networks that can be setup within the software. The initial setup requires entering your login information into each of these secure sites. This is the only cumbersome aspect of the process, after you have finished the initial setup both services will simultaneously submit your posts to all your social networks with a single click of a button.

Actually each time you make a new blog post there will be a RSS feed for the post itself. Here is the RSS Feed for the last post I made to one of my blogs.

Comments on: How To Get In Shape

I usually submit the RSS Feed for the blog 3 or 4 times per month depending on how many times I post during the month.

And no you will not need to re-submit the posts to Mixx,Delicious or Digg if they are being submitted when you use onlywire.com

I have never tested to see how much additonal traffic comes from the RSS Feed submissions, however I may do this in the next couple of weeks just to see. I do know that it helps with your SERP.
