Anyone Use the Paid Features of MS?

I was looking at Market Samurai, I'm on the trial right now and besides the keyword tool (which is free) which I think is one of the better ones out there for checking comp and such, is there any reason really to pay for the other features? The only one I'd be interested in I think is the SEO competition but most of that stuff is simple to find for yourself. The other features I can't really see being that worthwhile. I just figured I'd ask around before I committed to it or not to see if I'm missing anything?

it's worth the investment. MS makes things so much easier and everyone I have spoken to, loves it.

Ya, it is definitely worth the money. I use it everyday. If you purchase the paid version before your free trial runs out, it will only be $97, instead of $127.

It is going to depend on what you want to use the tool for. If it is just keyword research then you can manage using the free keyword research (or even the Google interfaces) and the free version of Traffic Travis or even SEOQuake.

The SEOC module is what I use the most even though Traffic Travis (and others) can do it for free. I just find it really handy to easily analyse a new keyword from the same keyword list. Changing global location is extremely useful.

MS is a great way to organise your projects which can be a big plus for many. The rank tracker is also handy - I use it regularly.

The other modules are a bit more specialised. The monetisation module is a good way to do some quick affiliate research without leaving the program but if you know where to look it probably won't get used much either.

MS is just an interface for things a lot of marketers do already for free. It is nice to have but not needed.

You can actually achieve a similar result by using the Google Keyword Tool External, but it will take longer and can be more complicated. By using Market Samurai you can also save your projects and so keep all the information you've collected. And yes, buy the paid version before your free trial runs out, so it's cheaper.

I use Market Samurai a lot and love it. You may only think you need the keyword part of it but when you see what else it can do with it, you may come up with many others things you could use it for.

When I was using the trial version, the slowness was what kept me from buying the product. Even though I could tell that in the long run it was going to make the keyword search process go faster, the response times frustrated me too much. I don't like to feel frustrated while I'm working.

I always wondered if the paid version was faster. Can anyone tell me if it is any different? I would buy it if it were.

Slowness kept me from buying it, too. I have a friend who has it, and the paid version was no faster than the trial. I watched my friend wait for over an hour to get SEO competition data for less than 100 keywords and I finally had to go home. Nothing ever happened.

I could not deal with the slowness, so I couldn't bring myself to pay that much for it. I will definitely buy it if they ever improve the speed.

You really should watch all of the training videos because they are deep and I didn't realized the power of some of the features until much later.

While it is true that there are free tools and sites out there that will provide you with the information, but the time you spend looking for them and learning the various functions of each site/software can be better utilized else where.

As for me I did do the trail, cancel, and then decided that I was spending/wasting too much time paying around with other tools that I decided to buy.

btw. the one cool feature I really like is the add url feature in the comp research. You can basically take a site and break down all of their anchor backlinks. I am sure you get the idea.
