Daily WSOs?

INTERNET MARKETING

I was under the impression that you couldn't re-post a WSO until it was deleted, or had at least moved to page 3.

Today a warrior re-posted a wordpress WSO when the old one was at the TOP of page 2.

Another warrior has the same copywriting WSO posted on pages 1, 2, 4, and 5... same exact WSO.

Have the WSO rules changed? Just wondering.

The rules still state that the WSO has to be off of page 2 before it can be reposted.

Robert, here's the deal.

You can't bump WSOs anymore as the forum software won't support it.

So, you have to repost your WSO just like you did at the old forum before
somebody figured out you could bump it.

The only difference now is that there is no WSO approval, at least not yet,
so WSOs go live right away. But I think between Allen and the members,
they're keeping an eye on them to make sure they conform to the rules and
aren't just scams or PLR or whatever.

But if you remember, before bumping, you could pay to repost your WSO
at any time once it was off of page 2, if you wanted.

So since there is no bumping anymore, the bump rule doesn't apply
anymore, at least as far as I understand it...unless somebody wants to
clarify.

Here is what Allen has posted in the sticky titled Bumping no longer works...

To members of the old forum - please remember that bumping no longer works. Do not keep your PM and pay for it again thinking it will bump. It will not.

Save all your testimonials and just repost again when your WSO gets off page 2. No problem.

Bumping was nice and easy, but it's over...

Hi Mate,

The rules are pretty clear to me!

You cannot post the same WSO until you've
worked your way off page 2.

Whoever has their WSO on all the pages has
seriously borken this rule.

Simple as that!

It seems the rule is pretty clear, but given that there is still confusion, it could be open to interpretation. What we might find is people changing their offer slightly for each instance of their WSO if they are posting on every page. THAT would be even more annoying as you may end up buying the same WSO twice but with different bonuses or something.

There are a few people who have been breaking the rules since day 1, when they had the same wso submitted 2 or 3 times on page one.

I wonder if WSO's will vanish just like regular posts once reported by enough members.
I'll go test it out now.

Perhaps throwing a few $20's down the toilet might grab their attention.

I takes a few people to report posts before they are deleted, depending on how many (use to be stars) posts people have wehn they report it.

Don't wory though, I'm sure it won't toske long before they are gone.

People are always finding ways round. The new forum is a little more wild west than the old one for now. I think quite a few members will burn themselves out, or get kicked off if they keep taking the mickey.

To throw another monkey wrench (no pun intended) into this thing, if you
go to your user options, you can set how many posts you want to see per
page. So one person's page 3 could be another person's page 2.

As if things weren't complicated enough.

Steven if you go to WarriorPlus you can see them exactly as they were posted, and then find the one above and below to see which pages they are on.

But somehow having 3 or 4 of the same wso when there are only 6 pages, somehow something doesn't add up.

I was pretty shocked how quickly my WSO was pushed down the page. In the old forum it would stay on page 1 for at least a day or two. Right now mine is all the way on the bottom of page 1 in less than 24 hours.

I thought maybe the WSO activity just skyrocketed, but maybe its just from people breaking the rules.

So far it seems to be impacting sales, but I'll have to keep testing as that could be from a variety of variables.

I noticed that as well. I even clicked on both his order pages and in disbelief it is the same product/WSO.

I couldn't believe they would violate the rules so blatantly especially after seeing this post so they know the rules having read this thread. They obviously don't care about screwing over other warriors who get pushed down the 1st page so they can have the same WSO on page 1...twice.

  I'm pretty sure bumping isn't limited by the software per se, but by the user configurable option of that particular subforum. If Allen wanted to, i'm pretty sure he could allow bumping in that forum..
  
  The way i peruse that forum now is by clicking on the views and replies headers to sort by popularity.

  I just reported yet another of a certain warrior's WSOs... none of his WSOs have been removed.
  
  He just posted another WSO today and now has the same exact offer on EVERY page except page 4...
  
  I like the guy, I like his WSOs but this is against the rules... why don't we all repost on every page and move everyone else's offers to the bottom... please bring the mods back, reporting does nothing...

though the rules do not state you cannot post more than one WSO of the same kind over and over and pay $20 for each

maybe this is what this guy did?

Pete that was a question I asked originally. I haven't had a wso for months so no personal experience, but I gather you are asked if you want to list 1-3 wso.

I thought there were two ways that could be used.

1) List 3 wso, and maybe that would be the maximum anyone could have.
2) List the same wso 3 times.

If the latter then it would be possible for someone to post a dozen or more and have each of them 3 times, that way they take over a complete page.

I imagine Allen's working on a script that holds wso's in moderation, till approved. If not, I'll guess it could get quite messy in there..

As you probably know I have a pretty strong presence in there, though do my best not to dominate it.

I split my wso's into groups and display them that way instead of all of them at once.. for the reasons mentioned above..

me? Ive got 7 WSO's on the old board. just trying to find the time to convert them to VB code to run them on here again. these will be in a group of 3, once they go to the next page I'll put the other 4 up. though of course these are all different WSO's etc.

Yes they have changed.

you have to repost your WSO over and over again now.

This is a little disappointing because you can't build up credibility from your views / replies and reviews like you could when we were allowed to bump.

But maybe it could even out the playing feild less experienced WSO's.
