Advice on setting up a property site.

I have a contact here in France who wants to set up a site selling homes around the world and include a letting side as well.
He is already in this business, but local. The question is what does he need in way of software to control the images being placed on the site?

He basically wants it to be automated. Someone wants to advertise with him, so they click a pay now button and upload an image of their property.
It can't be quite as easy as that though can it? I am not after the work myself, its just a case of asking advice for a friend.

    Hi Andy,

    I think Joomla has functionality that allows a site to go up and to have advertisers laod their own content after paying their listing fee.

    I got the software and a guide on how to do it from a warrior here on the forum. It's been a while and I can't seem to find it amongst all my crap.

    Give me a minute and I'll do a quick search to see if I can help.
