This person bought a digital product from me (paid via paypal) and then disputed the charge through their credit card. Of course "we" know that we can not randomly charge someone's credit card so at first I was unsure how to fight this.
Then as "dumb luck" (or smart thinking) would have it, I checked my Aweber account. Guess what? Exactly one minute after the purchase a person with the same exact name double-opted into my autoresponder. Got 'em!
Sent aweber screen shots of the double opt-in and my explanation to paypal and now, 5 months later, I will be reimbursed.
The charge was for $27 and the principle was worth my efforts which seriously took only a couple of minutes of my time.
So next time someone disputes a charge, make sure to check your autoresponder to see if this same person signed up.
