clickbank question

INTERNET MARKETING

I was looking for products to promote on clickbank and found one with a sales page i like. the problem is all the information like gravity, profit per sale and everything else is blank on clickbank?

Could it just be a new product or is it a problem if that info is missing?

This is my first venture into clickbank stuff so i am unsure.

It could be a brand new product or a product that has been around a little while but has not made any sales.

If a product doesn't make a sale within 30 days it is dropped from the Market Place.

Once sales have been made all that info you mentioned will get filled in.

  It could not be selling too well.

  http://www.cb-advantage.com/
  
  just enter the cb id you want to check and see when the site was first featured on the marketplace.

  It is probably safe to promote it, but I would not especially since they are so many products on cb that already have gravities which I know for sure that I can promote

It should be safe to promote. Odds are its a new product or unpromoted product. If the sales page looks good, I'd say so for it. As long as you have your unique ID/link, you are good to go!

As a newbie, I've learned that the most critical first step is to research the niche to make sure they are buyers! Then investigate products that will feed their hunger. Also, ask for a review copy. You won't always get one, but many times you will.

Starting with the product is like building a house on a foundation of sand. It takes the same materials, tools, energy, creativity and other resources to build the house . . . but if it's on a shakey foundation, it still will fall. You niche is the foundation, so I now know it's critical to do good quality research about the niche and THEN choose products.

its in the reef aquarium niche which i have been involved in for 15 years. Just thought would target a niche that i know and see how that works

these are the products i was thinking of promoting. the first has the highest gravity but i do not like the sales page the second has the second highest gravity but a bad sales page i think. the third has no info on clickbank but i like the sales page alot, but there is only an opt in form on it??? I am assuming it uses cookies to rack affiliate sales? This is my first attempt at this so I may have a few basic questions, my main thing was Adsense but i am branching out.
