INTERNET MARKETING

I just submitted my first ever article to Ezine Articles. It was accepted and I was granted "Expert Author" status. Is this a big deal or is it just normal?

It's the norm. Makes you feel special and you want to submit more articles.

  when they upgrade you to basic plus or platinum. don't break ANY of their rules and you could be platinum after your first 10 articles are published. after that, it's unlimited submission, with a much faster approval time (inside of 48 hours).

Yeah I'm pretty sure everyone is automatically an "expert author" after their first submission is accepted. Looks cool but it would be nice if you actually had to achieve the status.

  When I got Platinum status they sent me a coffee mug. Got it after just 10 submissions. I used the mug for the first time this morning and I have to say that the mug is much easier to use than the site. :-0

I thought platinum is over 25? I have 24 published, and I never got a mug. Maybe it's not for Canadians.

It is nothing indeed. In fact, everyone is automatically an "Expert Author" after EZA has accepted their first article.
