What Sounds Do You Use In Your Videos?
Perhaps a better question to ask would be:
"What's the purpose of sound (other than someone's voice to deliver the message)?"
I know a lot of videos shoot for background music. Yeah...it makes the video more professional. But not if you don't do it professionally. I've seen tons of videos that have the BG music way too loud...almost to the point of drowning out the voices.
I've seen some people use very loud noise to capture their audience's attention...and maybe try to make the die of a heart attack.
But aside from these, we also use it to put people in the proper mood. Sometimes we need people excited...sometimes we just need them to relax. Sometimes, we need the viewer to trust us more. We want them happy. We want them agitated.
And we have to pick the right sounds for the right mood.
