How do you plan your follow ups ?

I'm starting with a new niche list and I wonder how you guys prepare your follow ups:

Do you use PLR Articles ? Do you write them or hire someone to do it for you ?

And most important how do you know the quality of your messages are good and will convert in advance ?

    Write them yourself, imbue your personality into them.

    If you research your niche, understand their needs, then you'll know what you're giving them is of insane value...and therefore when it comes to the promotional emails they'll convert as you'll be perceived as a friend and an authority/expert

    What about PLR articles, seminars and videos ? Are they good to use ?

      You can use PLR articles, but my advice is not to use them as they are - Make changes to them (by rephrasing some sentences, and also adding your own personal thoughts and opinions).

      You may not want to paste the entire article in the email and send it out to them (your email will end up to be very long and people hate reading long emails) - What you can do is that, in your email, you give them a summary of your article - highlighting one or two important points, and have a link in which your subscribers can click on to read the article in full (which in most cases, it will be to your website, where you have the entire article there).

    Do I use PLR articles? Sometimes, but very rarely as written. Usually I use them for seed or filler. I write my own articles and follow-ups. Promotional messages usually start as broadcasts to the list. If they get a good response, they go in the autoresponder series.

    Sort answer, you don't.

    If you study your market, you can make some pretty good guesses, but you can never know for sure until you send them out. That's why so many successful marketers harp on testing and tracking to the point you think your ears will bleed if they say it again.
