How to add people to Twitter/Facebook without getting banned?

Hello everyone.

With a big project of mine the main source of traffic will be from Twitter and Facebook however I plan on hiring someone to add people to my facebook fan page and to my twitter account on a daily basis.

However what precautions can I take, or how can I add people without getting banned for spamming/unatural friend building (lol)?

Thanks in advance.

P.S Anyone know where I can find someone good to do this too for perhaps a basic salary and PRP?

    Hey willyboy,

This is a very touchy area that you are going to be dealing with. There are automated scripts and programs out there to do that. No need to hire anyone.

I don't recommend using your primary account to do this. i.e. the ones with your personal friends on it.

Create a separate account. I use Facebook and Twitter Blaster. Just change the settings so that it adds a friend like every 2 minutes or so and you should have no problems.

    Good Luck

I use Tweet Adder preloaded with my tweets for the week. Follows new people on keyword criteria and unfollows nonfollowers after a few days. Works great.

Some great advice but I'm pretty sure it violates Facebook's and Twitter's TOS.

The best way is really to get your fans/followers naturally

  • You will need to be creative.

Right now Facebook/Twitter are probably in phase 3 of detecting mass adds, so what worked 2 months ago will not work now (simply because so many people abuse it in the hopes of getting rich 'quick').

Think outside the box, and you will probably figure out a way.

Thanks guys, but I would prefer not to use automated tools just because as the last guy mentioned, Twitter & Facebook will probably sift these accounts out very soon.

Still looking for a good strategy though, out of the box thinking may have to come in to play

That's certainly the dream of each and everyone of us, but it's not as easy as it sounds.

I use TweetAdder, it's paid, but well worth it. I stay the hell away from Facebook for various reasons (although I'll try it based on The Challenge recommendations)...

If you're hiring someone to follow people for your Twitter account, and the searches/follows are all done manually without the aid of any automated tools, then it's unlikely you'll get into trouble. Just bear in mind that you want to keep the number of people you follow AND the people following you fairly equal - if there's a huge imbalance and the number of people you follow is far bigger than your follower count, then it's probably going to get you into trouble.

the twitter limit on followers a day is 500
but that is like 1 every 3 second which isn't very natural
when it comes to twitter there are several different methods
i made my money poaching other key player in that niches followers
because at the end of the day i feel like i can win the conversion
there are many systems out there to that automate
you just have to make sure you spend some time tuning it to your comfort level

Going through and following people manually (but in bulk) does not violate anyone's TOS. As long as you do it with your own 2 hands, it's not a violation.

My group has a formula for twitter that we use that seems pretty successful, and I haven't seen better yet.
We use multiple accounts, NEVER our personal account.
For each account we "cook" it for 48 hours, That is we take it up to the max of 1000 followings (takes me 23 minutes).
After 24 hours "prune" away the ones that didn't follow you back down to a ratio of 1:1.4 (the number you're following is 40% larger OR LESS than the number that follow you).
Wait another 24 hours or so then start adding followings again always staying within that ratio til you get to 1,000, THEN reduce the ratio to 1:1.1 (the number you're following is 10% larger OR LESS than the number that follow you)
Once you get over 20k, open up the floodgates!
After that first 48 hours, we normally automate the process. There are plenty of automations out there.
Create the accounts using a dispostable.com email address because it's SUPER quick. Then follow followers NOT followings. Followers have already proven that they are inclined to follow.
We typically see between 400 and 600 followers on that first day and only about 1 in 10 accounts gets suspended, and never been banned, so it's a great "jump start".

    Good Luck.

I'd have to agree. I prefer to have it done manually than using a tool. Sometimes they detect even manual but better careful than sorry. Facebook & Twitter are really trying to watch out for mass ads. Why don't you just try creating a page for business than using your personal account.

I don't know why some members insist on manual work? In some cases you are right. But for adding friends in Twitter, its really no difference between manual and automated work. Some automated tools are great.

There is a better way to add people into your facebook account.
First generate some random emails using Email generator software Like Acute Email Generator
Then upload them using facebook's find friends menu.It is very easy>
And you don't need to care about ban also :-)

I would always say do this manually. There's not much point in setting something up that you want to earn you money, for it to be taken down in the blink of an eye, because you were noticed bending TOS rules.

We outsource as well as market in-house. The trick to getting friends, is finding people who have the same interests as your page or profile. We market gaming apps, therefore we find people who play games, have interests in games, are members of groups for games and pages for games. Relevancy pays off in buckets.

facebook and Twitter, these are social media sites made for social networking. Now a days is has become very popular to use these sites for marketing purpose that is not bad i think but the only thing you should keep in mind is to do not promote your product or service excessively. Try to interact with people, to get about them and then mention about your services.

Do it manually. Takes time, but you can find keywords-targeted followers

I get 2-3 of those friends requests daily and I report them all as spam. Be friending people like that just piss's off face book users. I would never buy anything from a person doing friend spam.

There are no certain ways that be helpful to you. In my eyes, all what you can do is add them naturally and avoid being considered as spam actions.

good tip and in addition to this: following people that autofollowback helps get you social proof aswell.
